Recruiting Report: The Early Commits

It was bound to happen eventually but it appears the flow of verbal commitments from the 2022 class has begun.  Many players and families I talked to in the past several months have been very nervous about the recruiting environment.  What most did not have a bead on was the attention taken up by colleges on getting their 2021 class recruited, including from the enormous number of players hoping for greener pastures via the NCAA transfer portal.  While there still are schools looking under rocks, shaking trees, and so on for 2021s, finally, the 2022s are finding their way into the gunsites of colleges. A couple of the early commits listed below announced before the end of the 2020 calendar year.  Several players did the same just within the past few weeks.  Players are listed in current rank order.  The next ranking refresh will release in 3-4 months.
