<strong>Virginia’s 2022 Newcomers</strong>
Reviewing some of Virginia's top newcoming players in the 2022 class rankings.

Grace dropped into the #33 spot with her defensive work. A note to players about the importance of playing hard both ends. She is a pretty good interior defender and can alter shots in the paint. She also finishes well around the basket.

LeAsia dropped in at #4 and although listed as a newcomer the Hampton commit has made an impact in her high school seasons the past couple of years. She’s a strong physical guard that uses her body well when attacking.

The Costigan name is becoming associated with basketball talent. The Manhattan commit is comes from a basketball family and she has been playing championship level basketball since joining the WCAC. She can fill multiple roles with her defense, rebounding and ability to hit the three.

Faith has good length and great touch from the field. She shoots the three well and has a really good mid range off the bounce. She plays the passing lane well and finishes contested breaks.

Jessica plays well with her back to the basket. She has good hands and finishes by the basket. Defensively she is a good shot blocker and alters a lot of shots in the paint. She keeps the ball high when needed to avoid strips.
