Katelynn Evans Katelynn Evans 5'9" | SG Lebanon Trail | 2025 State TX mom ran up to me when her daughter was in the 4th grade asking why I was taking pictures of her daughter, I pointed at my logo and she said I don’t what that it is and here we are, years later and many still don’t know yet I’m the guy with no agenda, who was the first to promote Texas players when these people many worship weren’t saying anything yet I’m also a dad of a 9 year WNBA player who had over 100 D1 offers, so I might know something right? Well this brings me to another story about Niyah Waters Niyah Waters 5'11" | SG Hendrickson | 2025 State TX club coach Ashley Roberts (Texas) who I nicknamed Radio because she was always talking to me about basketball and plays until one day I listened and she knew the plays better than me, she was in the 6th grade so let me close out my first 20, I’ll drop 10-20 more in a few weeks and remember, this is a WATCH LIST, not a RANKING LIST, fly to one of these places that will rank you nationally because you showed up to their event, I base EVERYTHING on what I see and not who/what you play for
Katelynn Evans Katelynn Evans 5'9" | SG Lebanon Trail | 2025 State TX -5’9 (Texas U)
Evans was called a #D1Lock in the 4th grade playing up and her progression has continued to rise, sort of like she does on the court for rebounds on both ends because one thing is for certain, you won’t outwork her which is #THROWBACK yet her attacking the rim to finish, scoring off of putbacks or creating her pull-up jumper, she simply finds ways to score and the midrange is going to create some issues
Shiloh Kimpson Shiloh Kimpson 5'7" | SG Little Elm | 2025 State TX -5’7 (Cy Fair 16U EYBL) Little Elm HS
Kimpson was always watching older sister Amarachi Kimpson Amarachi Kimpson 5'7" | PG Little Elm | 2023 State TX play, I guess she was in the 4th or 5th grade when I finally saw her, and right off the top, I knew she had to be paying attention to the game because she got “it” early and showed on the court yet her poise, especially under pressure, has always made me smile but her game speaks for itself as she scores off the dribble ad finishes with either hand, after contact plus she creates the jumper under guess what, pressure and drops the mid to long-range, Little Elm, here I come
Aniyah Foy Aniyah Foy 6'0" | SG Cinco Ranch | 2025 State TX -6’0 (Lady Defenders GUAA)
Foy wasn’t seen by me until before she headed to the 7th grade and I thought she was heading to high school because she was long and athletic, that’s the base, and was so mature and confident going against high school players but her work ethic is second to none, she plays the passing lane which is basket going the other way because of her ballhandling and playing under control yet she showed me some finger rolls with either hand recently as well as a jumper from another galaxy and with her length, she gets her shot off whenever she wants against whoever she wants
Vivian Franklin Vivian Franklin 5'8" | SG Greenhill School | 2025 State TX -5’8 (DFW 17U EYBL)
Franklin is just smooth, on both ends of the court and she understands how to score in the flow or just take the game over and her mid to long-range, under pressure, is one of the best in the state but she also understands how to control the tempo if she happens to be running the 1, she makes pinpoint passes in traffic yet she also is vocal on the court, on both ends and plays smothering defense the length of the court
Niyah Waters Niyah Waters 5'11" | SG Hendrickson | 2025 State TX -5’11 (Competitive Edge)
Waters is just one of the players that have no roof on her ceiling because she’s; long and athletic, just under the magic number, and can flip it to another level in the blink of an eye. I saw her playing in the HS division my initial sighting and seeing her take players heading to college off the dribble has me asking Radio who she was, yet she was listed but had a different jersey which fits because she’s just different and again that upside is very scary as is her pull-up jumper
