A Look At DC Premier Rise

Coach Nate White has put together an intriguing 15U group for the Under Armour Rise Circuit this summer. Fresh off their championship performance at the Prime Event East at Spooky Nook, the team invited me to a workout in Southeast D.C. Here are some the key players to watch in July... &nbsp; <strong>Cameron Spinner, Bullis, 2024, Guard </strong> Cameron is a talented guard with a knack for scoring. She has good size at 5'8" and a solid build. She has a nice first step and showed some finishing ability at the rim. She has a quick release and some range on her perimeter shot out to the 3 point line. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="299822" first="Kisa" last="Lilly"], Holy Child, 2024, Point Guard </strong> Kisa is one of the fastest players I've seen this summer. She is a pass first guard with a nice handle and efficient floater. She has excellent footwork on defense and I was impressed with her leadership style and skills. She's vocal and does the right stuff on the court. <strong>Kristin Smith, Bishop O’Connell, 2024, Wing </strong> Very intriguing prospect at six feet tall with excellent length. She showed off some ball handling skills and a nice burst to get into the paint and score. With her size and length she should be able to become a strong on ball defender. She played in spurts so I want to check her out again to see if she can put together a dominant performance with consistent intensity. <strong>Lenora Nkangwen, Holy Child, 2024, Center</strong> Lenora is a bit raw but that is common with post prospects. She has good hands and is a good athlete. At 6'2" she has good size and a solid build. She showed the ability to catch and finish in the paint and is not afraid to put the ball on the floor. Keeping an eye on her going forward. &nbsp;
