Mckenzie Swanson Mckenzie Swanson 6'3" | PF Bloomfield Hills Marian | 2024 State MI (2024, PF, Michigan Crossover 15u EYBL, Marian)
Swanson has been a beast, in typical fashion for her, at the Battle of the Best. She’s been a double-double machine. Swanson has scored by picking up buckets around the rim and showing a smooth mid range jumper as well. Swanson has done a nice job keeping her hands high and securing the ball over top of her opponent. Swanson is apparently using this week to show college coaches that she’s one of the best rebounders in the state.
Jenna Winowiecki Jenna Winowiecki 5'10" | SF Grosse Pointe North | 2024 State MI (2024, SF, PR1DE 2023, Grosse Pointe North)
Winowiecki had a really nice 16 point game at TFN’s Run 4 The Roses. She turned heads by being active on the glass and a good passer, in addition to flaunting her ability to put points on the board. Winowiecki read the defense like a seasoned quarterback and attacked the openings. That showed scouts and coaches a high basketball IQ.
Avery Zeinstra Avery Zeinstra 5'7" | PG Byron Center | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, West Michigan Drive Copeland 2022, Byron Center)
Zeinstra was her own premier showcase at the USJN Premier Showcase. Grand Valley State University landed a gem in this highly underrated star. She’s flat out a lethal scorer. Zeinstra had 27 points in a win over the St. Louis Blue Stars and added a 26 point performance in a win over IN Showcase.
Kendal Zeiter Kendal Zeiter 6'2" | PF Troy | 2022 State MI (2022, PF, Tri-County Hoopers, Troy)
Zeiter is an elite post player in Michigan and she’s showing why at the USJN Premier Showcase. She had a 17 point and 7 block game that really showed off her skills as a player and prospect. She rebounds and defends the paint at a high level, and on the other end, can score from all 3 levels. Zeiter will continue to be a matchup nightmare for her opponents.
