LBI Summer Showcase Day 1: Small Forwards

<p class="p1">LBI Summer Showcase was a great way to to kick off the July live period.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Here are some small forwards that certainly showed their next level talents.</p> <p class="p1"><b>Jasmine Twitty</b> (Lady Royals 17U, 2022, pictured above) runs the floor well making sure she’s available on fast breaks, and she knows how to score some old fashioned three point plays in transition. <span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She is aggressive when grabbing rebounds no matter who her opponent is.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She showed her IQ knowing exactly how to handle situations after she dove on the basketball regaining possession.</p> <p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Aaliyah-Balser-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1625931314.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-306595 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Aaliyah-Balser-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1625931314-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>Aaliyah Balser</b> (Carolina All-Stars, 2022) grabs rebounds and immediately finds her outlet to push it up the court for some fast break points.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>While running the court in transition, she fills the lanes perfectly looking for the pass to score.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She finds the gaps on offense, too, ready for an entry pass to show off her moves and earn her points.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She had a nice defensive play sliding in front of her opponent drawing a charge to take over the possession.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="202001" first="Bree" last="Spainhour"]</b> (Surry Storm, 2022) tracks the ball showing off her shot blocking ability.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She makes nice cuts to the basket with the ball scoring floaters or taking it all the way to the hoop.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She scored some clutch three pointers towards the end of a close game showing her versatility all over the court.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="288424" first="Trista" last="Charles"]</b> (Team Curry 15U UAA, 2025) already has some good length on her using that to<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Trista-Charles-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1625931357.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-306597 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Trista-Charles-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1625931357-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a> cause problems on defense and to score some points near the basket.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She has a nice shot from deep that she knows how to show off at just the right times giving her team some life.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She definitely has an exciting future ahead.</p>
