The featured image is of [player_tooltip player_id="243583" first="Emily" last="Adamowicz"] (2022) of Muncie’s Burris Laboratory and Indy Magic-Harmon 17U. Throughout the course of this month, I will do my best to bring you daily updates on players I’ve seen the previous day. Some articles will include strictly Indiana prospects, while others might include other Midwestern or National prospects. Below is a look at seven more young ladies who I felt stood out with their play in the games I was able to see yesterday at the Battle in the Boro in Louisville, Kentucky. [player_tooltip player_id="243583" first="Emily" last="Adamowicz"], 2022, 5-8 W, Muncie Burris Laboratory Emily has been really good all Spring, and she played extremely well yesterday. She looks noticeably stronger and more physical, but she’s maintaining her versatility. She can play a number of roles offensively, whether that means handling the ball and initiating the offense, making shots outside, or attacking the basket. She is an active rebounder as well, plus she can defend multiple positions. [player_tooltip player_id="128165" first="Hope" last="Fox"], 2022, 5-7 G, East Central H.S. Hope is a well-balanced, versatile guard who does a little of everything. She has a long, wiry-strong, athletic frame, she moves well in most directions, and she plays with an outstanding motor. She is more of a point guard than anything, she does a nice job taking care of the basketball, and she is a willing distributor. But she also shoots it consistently, and she’s a nice North/South attacker who can play of the ball. DeNishia Nalls, 2022, 5-5 G, Warren Central H.S. Yesterday was my first time seeing DeNishia play, and she is a very athletic perimeter prospect. She has really nice length at her size, she’s wiry-strong, but it’s her speed and quickness that stand out when you watch her play. She flies around the floor and makes plays off the bounce offensively, plus she can defend the ball or create turnovers from help-side. I need to see her again, but she made a nice first impression. Olivia Webb, 2022, 5-5 G, Cardinal Ritter H.S. I first saw Olivia last Fall, I saw her earlier this Spring, then again yesterday, and each time she looked more impactful. She has really nice length, she’s a fairly fluid athlete, and she plays with a nice motor. She can play either guard spot fairly effectively, but yesterday she was acting as more of a traditional point guard. She did a nice job of finding teammates, but she also got inside and finished around the basket. Lizzie Redar, 2023, 5-9 F, Lawrenceburg H.S. Lizzie has always been a fairly tough kid, a solid athlete, and someone who plays with a nice motor. Yesterday she showed a more efficient and balanced skillset than I recall, and she really impacted her game. She attacked the basket well and finished inside, but she also took care of it well around the perimeter and was solid in the mid-post. She can play inside-out and could be a nice small college face-up ’4’. Reese Hoover, 2024, 5-9 SF, Westfield H.S. Reese is an intriguing wing prospect who I think will only get better. She has a wiry-strong, athletic frame, she moves fairly well in most directions, and she has some skill around the perimeter and in the mid-post. She can attack the basket, she does a solid job absorbing contact, but she can also knock down an open rhythm jump-shot. If she can defend wings and bigger guards, she’ll be a full-time perimeter player long-term. [player_tooltip player_id="295760" first="Hadley" last="Crosier"], 2025, 5-8 SG, Lanesville H.S. Hadley is somewhat difficult to define by position right now, because she does so many different things. She has really nice length, a wiry-strong, athletic frame, and she’s a fluid athlete in most directions. She can handle the ball and act as a point forward, she attacks the basket, changes directions, and finds teammates or scores it herself, plus she can knock down an open jumper. She’s also versatile defensively.
