This class has the early look of being a SPECIAL one and we’re excited to follow their growth and development for the next 4 years. This list is going to be broken down in 4 parts, in alphabetical order.
Claire Roberts Claire Roberts 5'8" | CG Lexington Christian Academy | 2025 State KY , Lexington Christian – Roberts played a big role last season for LCA and should be the main go to scorer for the Eagles this season. If she can improve her shooting efficiency this season, it’s not unreasonable to expect Claire to average 15 points or more as a freshman.
Noel Smith Noel Smith 5'7" | PF Whitefield Academy | 2025 State KY , Whitefield Academy – One of the state’s top rebounders last season, Smith’s offensive game keeps evolving as she continues improving her skills and becomes a more reliable offensive weapon. Noel helped Whitefield to a big season last year and will be among the best freshmen in the 6th region.
Addison Terry, Owsley County – Addison is part of a young and talented group in Owsley County that will be among the best teams in the 14th region this season. Like many on this list, Terry has to keep improving her shooting efficiency to make the leap to the next level but she’s more than capable.
Corinne Trammell Corinne Trammell 5'11" | C McCreary Central | 2025 State KY , McCreary Central – Trammell is a big body who was among the state’s leaders in field goal percentage last year and looks primed for a bigger offensive role this year. As she improves, she’ll become a better rebounder and add some stretch to her game and become a 3 point threat.
Skylar Waller Skylar Waller 5'7" | PG Marshall County | 2025 State KY , Calloway County – One of the top players in the class, Waller doesn’t get as much shine as others because she lives in far western Kentucky but you won’t find many better scorers in the 2025 class. As an 8th grader, Skylar averaged 19 points per game and she could be among the leading scorers in the state this season.
