Prep Girls Hoops takes a look at Around the State with some news and notes. It’s August and the news school year is here for some of us already while some will head back next week. Lets take a look at some events along with some recruiting news. Prep Girls Hoops and Swanny’s Roundball Review will be hosting "Hooping In The Ville" this coming November 18-20, 2021. Prep Girls Hoops and Swanny’s Roundball Review will be joining forces with the Hartsville HS Lady Red Foxes basketball staff to host the event. The event will feature 12 teams while each team will play 2 games over the 3 days. Thursday-Friday November 18-19 will feature 3 games each night while all teams will play on Saturday showcasing 6 games. The field will be announced in the near future of schools in the event. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="185416" first="Serenity" last="Woods"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="253658" first="Aubrey" last="Stevenson"]</strong> will both be playing at Legion Collegiate this coming season according to Lancers Head Coach Kevin King. Woods previously attended Cardinal Newman last year while Stevenson attended Indian Land HS. Vance a 2024 recruit has received offers from Cincinnati, Wofford, Howard University, Presbyterian, Wagner and Appalachian State.
