Part two of a look at some of the incoming 2025 freshman players who landed on the initial PGH Ohio Watch List for their class.
[player_tooltip player_id="319353" first="Ryen" last="Smith"], 5-9 Fremont St. Joes
Ryen (feature photo above) is a pure knockdown shooter with great height and length for a shooting guard. She had multiple 3’s in a game many times last year including a season-high five in one contest. She is an exceptional rebounder for a guard. Defensively she does a nice job in the perimeter with her length, and she has very good court vision with the ability to finish well with her left hand. She is very unselfish.
[player_tooltip player_id="319653" first="Chloe" last="Kilbride"], 5-9 Perrysburg
Chloe has a strong frame and can score at multiple levels. She has a pure stroke from behind the arc, and has a very good shooting form from all of her hard work. Sees the floor extremely well and ready defenses to make the appropriate decisions. She is a solid defender with a high ceiling for her future.
[player_tooltip player_id="319298" first="Madison" last="Moody"], 6-2 Kettering Alter
Looking forward to watch the growth of this post player, as she steps onto the floor with Alter this winter. She uses her height well to her advantage, and for her age is skilled. Strong and physical kid who can rebound and push the outlet. Working daily on her skill development and expect her to be a difference maker in the near future.
[player_tooltip player_id="319059" first="Imani" last="Frazier"], 5-11 Huber Heights Wayne
She is a physical imposing and strong player, can dominate the glass and and the paint. Can shoot out to 15’, rebounds well and defends and blocks well. Comparable to PGH 2022 top-five [player_tooltip player_id="32611" first="Cotie" last="McMahon"] without the same motor. She has a solid basketball IQ and has made great strides with Ohio Elite, understands the game.
[player_tooltip player_id="319320" first="Amiel" last="Jones"], 5-9 Huber Heights Wayne
Very long and athletic, a very good defensive player who can guard multiple positions. She finishes well inside, has a high IQ, very vocal, and has a nice 15-foot jumper. Does a good job on the boards, and like her teammate Imani, runs the floor well.
