Riley Smith Riley Smith 6'2" | SF Kettering Alter | 2024 State OH , 6-2 Kettering Alter
Her stock continues to rise in all aspects of the game. Played this summer with a loaded Sports City U travel team, and she is showing a lot of improvement around the basket. She has good post feet and can score around the rim. Has game has expanded to include so much more. Great hands, good rebounder and a solid post passer who can start the break, or use her athleticism to finish the break. Moves up to #16.
Airah Lavy Airah Lavy 5'10" | SF Nelsonville York | 2024 State OH , 5-9 Nelsonville York
You have read about her already this summer, as she performed at a high level for Team Ohio. For a younger player, Airah (feature photo above) is very skilled, and is primed to take her game to the next level. I saw her various places over the last couple of months and she doesn’t disappoint. Excellent perimeter game, moved well around the arc and can score from anywhere. Can penetrate and score, defend and create her shot off of her defense. Jumps to #26 in the latest ranking.
Macie Miller Macie Miller 5'4" | PG Old Fort | 2024 State OH , 5-4 Old Fort
I had the chance to see her at the Ohio Summer Showcase and the first thing I noticed was her ability to control the tempo of the game and show great poise and leadership. Excellent handles and able to get by her defender and score on a pull-up or get to the rim. Shall in stature, mighty in skill. Good on-ball defense, creates chances and knows where to be on the floor. An impressive 6-spot jump to #27.
Jordyn Smoot Jordyn Smoot 5'9" | CG Springfield Catholic | 2024 State OH , 5-9 Springfield Catholic Central
You will see a different player this season, with more of a fine-tuned skill set. She is very athletic which allows her to utilize that to score and explode to the rim and score with either hand. Great jumper, can rebound and handle the ball on the break. Passes the ball well, able to score in a variety of ways. As her stock rises, her teams success will flourish.
Jayda Mosely, 5-10 Purcell Marian
Enters the ranking during this update after an impressive summer. Not only does she play for a very skilled PM team, her development has really taken off. Deadly from the perimeter, can catch and shoot off a screen and has deep range beyond the arc. Showed versatility and good speed, able to run the floor in transition. Defensively, creates havoc and has active hands.
