PGH Rankings Class of 2024 Stockrisers- Part 3

On my final look at some of the 2024 players who either saw their stock rise in the latest PGH Ohio rankings, or debuted in the rankings during the latest update. These are kids who I saw in the last month, many of them in the Southeast Ohio event. Angie Saiter will be breaking down some additional stockrisers this weekend, but here is my final list from the class of 2024. [player_tooltip player_id="316723" first="Bree" last="Allen"], 6-0 Fairland Bree was impressive when I saw her in August the way she brought her tenacity to the game. A smart basketball player with a good IQ, she excelled from the outside with a good range for her shot. Fundamentally she has a good looking shot, very skilled on catch-and-shoot and a threat from behind the arc. Good court vision and able to make sure her teammates get involved. [player_tooltip player_id="316725" first="AnnaBell" last="Ball"], 5-8 Portsmouth Notre Dame A solid player in all phases of the game, she is a very complete player for her size. She can rebound and play well around the rim when needed, but she is best in transition and able to set the tempo of the game. Pushes north-south very well and is a very productive perimeter player. Very good passer who can distribute. [player_tooltip player_id="316729" first="Carlie" last="Besecker"], 5-10 Covington Rising sophomore who continues to improve by the day. She was a key part of the Dayton Metro 2023 PGH Circuit team this summer, Carlie runs the floor and clears the boards well for 5’10. She plays like she is 6’ and does a great job in the paint and needs to move her game out some because of her size for the next level. She does have good range, just needs to utilize it more. [player_tooltip player_id="316718" first="Ella" last="Kirby"], 5-8 Portsmouth Notre Dame As I saw earlier this month in an event, this Southeast Ohio rising soph continues to impress with her hard work and playmaking skills. Strong and physical player she is able to play through contact and showcase a variety of ways to help her team. She also has good range and her stock continues to rise. [player_tooltip player_id="316720" first="Emma" last="Sayre"], 5-2 Portsmouth West Yet another player from that section of Ohio in the Southeast who lands in the latest PGH update. Really liked her game a lot, she is a pass-first point guard who plays bigger than her frame. She showed a lot of good fundamental skills and makes the right decision for her team.
