The Prep Girls Hoops Washington Summer Showcase this past weekend was full of talent and as we continue with our team evals, I will now take a look at Team 2.
2025 5’3 PG [player_tooltip player_id="317595" first="Kiley" last="McMahon"] (Black Hills HS) is a small guard that has a solid handle and really hustles on the floor. She competed and brought everything she could to the floor despite being one of the younger and smaller participants.
2023 5’6 [player_tooltip player_id="317604" first="Zoe" last="Brown"] (Cashmere HS) worked hard throughout the showcase and displayed some great leadership ability as a vocal teammate. A hustler that is vocal and has a solid skill set.
2024 5’8 SF [player_tooltip player_id="281966" first="Alex" last="Goetz"] (Okanogan HS) is another hustle player that has some shining moments during camp. She is strong, aggressive and has potential as a slasher on the offensive end.
2022 5’8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="317611" first="Taylor" last="Reed"] (Archbishop Murphy HS) hit multiple outside shots and hustled on the floor. She is solid all around and can help a small college program.
2026 5’8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="317597" first="Ashley" last="Uusitalo"] (Lake Washington HS) handles the ball well as a guard. She showed well for a 2025 player and look forward to seeing her continued growth.
2025 5’8 [player_tooltip player_id="317600" first="Keiara" last="Curtis"] (Bellarmine Prep) played with a sprained ankle but still showed off some explosive moments that I have become accustomed to seeing from her. Her vision and court awareness in transition is very good for her age. A Division 1 prospect in the 2025 class.
2022 5’9 G [player_tooltip player_id="317613" first="Paytin" last="Ballard"] (Hudson’s Bay HS) did a little bit of everything and had a strong showing overall. Ballard was vocal on the floor and from the bench, she hit outside shots and drove to the rim to score. A stock riser from the event.
2024 6’0 SG [player_tooltip player_id="317608" first="Vida" last="Rack"] (Nathan Hale HS) has some length and range standing around 6’0 tall. Rack can handle and distribute pretty well. As she gains strength and fine tunes some details with her game, it will open up more opportunities on the floor to make plays.
2023 5’7 G [player_tooltip player_id="317606" first="JoAnne" last="Sayers"] (Nathan Hale HS) showed that she is well coached with her help side defense on display and willingness to get physical and mix things up. Sayers boards strong from the wing.
2023 6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="249844" first="Naomi" last="Hotchkiss"] (Puyallup HS) showed off her nice 15 foot jumper, but also banged in the paint and posted strong to create inside scoring opportunities. She impressed throughout camp and is currently on the radar of several Division 1 programs.
