Ashley was a key player for Lake Washington over the past few seasons, being a top player in her class consistently. Uusitalo is an elite ball handler and facilitator on the offensive side of the ball. She is patient when attacking the bucket, being able to keep defenders on her hip to get open looks. She reads defenses quickly and always makes the right pass. She’s a pure bucket getter who is going to thrive at the next level. 

Uusitalo took over this game offensively. She poured in 29 points, going 8 for 15 from the field and 9 for 12 from the free throw line. She hit four threes and controlled tempo throughout. This was not just shot making. She created space, attacked gaps, and made Chiawana defend every action. When Lake Washington needed a basket to stop momentum, she delivered.

Ashley is a Division 1 player and does a fantastic job at leading her team on the court. She adjusts to what the defense gives her with ease and knows how to get buckets or get teammates involved smoothly. She dropped 21 points and 13 rebounds against Issaquah in a win.

Ashley is a smooth point guard who plays the game with a very high IQ. She can adjust on the fly, based on whatever the defense is set up in. She can push the pace in transition, being able to out-run opposing player and get finishes in the paint through contact. Uusitalo is a high level Division 1 prospect and is poised for a big July with NW Greyhounds.

Ashley dominates for Lake Washington during school ball with ease, dropping 20/30 nightly with no problem. To me, she is a very, very underrated player in the country. She should have more big time Division 1 looks and I believe they are going to start coming in now. She played fantastic last weekend for the Greyhounds, showcasing her elite shooting ability. She dropped 3 threes against 7 Days, helping her team get the win.

Ashley is the leader of this Lake Washington team but they are no short of having talented players who could change/impact the game. Ashley is consistent on the court, being able to score from all 3 levels and having a variety of ways to get open in the paint. She is quick off the dribble and uses her elite agility to get open shots anywhere on the court.

Ashley has continued to shine for Lake Washington. She is the main option for the team offensively and does a great job at scoring the ball, as she recently passed the 1,000 points scored mark. She hustles hard every play, attacking the boards and always find her open teammates. She is unselfish on the court, passing up open shots for an even more open shot a teammate has.

Ashley is the leader for this talented Lake Washington team, helping elevate all her teammates games on the court. She leads by example and she scores from all 3 levels offensively with ease. She can really shoot the ball and has displayed that for a couple years now. If defenders play close tight defense on her, she can put the ball on the floor and use her speed to get right by her defender. She hustles every possession and crashes the boards hard, being a top rebounding guard in the entire state. She’s looking to help lead Lake Washington to a state championship this season.

Ashley has been dominating early this season for Lake Washington, which isn’t a surprise to the people who know her game. She is a top player in the state, regardless of class and does a fantastic job leading her team to wins and her teammates easy buckets. She scores from all 3 levels so smoothly and is only getting better and better. Against Mercer Island, she had 25 points and 9 rebounds.

Uusitalo is one of the top deep threats in the state and as if that wasn’t hard enough to deal with for opposing defenses, she’s also a strong slasher to the hoop. She gets the edge with a quick first step and has the strength to hold off defenders and finish through tight contests. The way she attacks angles and can play with the slightest edge makes her a real dual-threat offensively who can be tough to lock down.
