The PGH Washington Summer Showcase took place on August 14th and the talent on display was very impressive to say the least. Team 6 had a great balance of newcomers and experienced players who maximized their opportunity to show the 30+ colleges in attendance what they can bring at the next level. *All players listed are Washington based prospects unless otherwise noted
<p class="p1">2025 5’6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="317684" first="Bregan" last="Ruhland"] (Kelso HS) Hi IQ point guard who held her own against players four years older than her. Confident with her handle and possessing an emerging skill set that, coupled with her intense drive to compete and improve, will see her be a contributor from day one in high school. A player to watch this coming year.</p>
<p class="p1">2022 5’7 G [player_tooltip player_id="317679" first="Riley" last="Massengale"] (Ingraham HS) Strong guard with good court vision. Embraces contact and can finish through it. Strong passer who excels at entry passes to the low and high post. Above average rebounder for her size.</p>
<p class="p1">2023 5’9 G [player_tooltip player_id="317689" first="Gracie" last="Turley"] (Mount Si HS) Posses great size and length. Has skills necessary to thrive at the 2 but is also effective playing point. Reads the floor extremely well. Exploits what the defense gives her each possession. Good decision maker under pressure.</p>
<p class="p1">2022 5'9 SG [player_tooltip player_id="191424" first="Kali" last="Haizlip"] (Emerald Ridge HS) Versatile player with above average athleticism. Disrupts opponents on the defensive end. Operates well from the wing and possesses great ability to attack the rim from there.</p>
<p class="p1">2025 5’6 SG [player_tooltip player_id="317685" first="Ella" last="Whitaker"] (Liberty HS) High IQ guard who uses her strength to absorb and initiate contact. Extremely good shooter who keeps the defense honest by utilizing her equally good passing ability. Potential to be a big time impact player as a freshman once high school season starts.</p>
<p class="p1">2025 5'7 G [player_tooltip player_id="317686" first="Jaelyn" last="McCormack-Marks"] (Lapwai HS/ID) Great 1 on 1 player. Creates space well to get hit her shot on the perimeter. Gets to the rim and can finish through contact with either hand. GOing to be an immediate contributor at the high school level.</p>
<p class="p1">2023 5'7 G [player_tooltip player_id="154469" first="Monique" last="Carter"] (Emerald Ridge HS) Is great at using change of speed to break down defenders. Possesses highly effective floater. Plays great on-ball defense with a level of discipline that sets her apart.</p>
<p class="p1">2022 5'10 SF [player_tooltip player_id="232433" first="Gabby" last="Stuart"] (Seattle Prep) Prospect with interst from multiple high-academic universities. Lethal long range shooter. Demonstrated great footwork in the paint. Possesses multiple counter moves and is extremely crafty finishing around the basket. Has skill set to play the 2 or the 3 at the next level.</p>
<p class="p1">2024 5'10 SF [player_tooltip player_id="281967" first="Maya" last="Davis"] (Mountlake Terrace HS) Strong wing who has great footwork and deceptive speed. Can guard numerous positions at the high school level. Solid on-ball and great help defender. Only starting to realize her potential.</p>
<p class="p1">2022 5'11 C [player_tooltip player_id="257530" first="Natalie" last="Brown"] (Central Valley HS) Capable of playing as a stretch 4 or 5. Soft touch on her jumper and can finish over both shoulders in the paint. Good passer who is poised for a big senior season.</p>
