When describing the state of Tennessee, the west side of the state boasts some major swagger. Girls who can score it by taking to the cup, shoot it from deep, lock you down the full length of the court, and talk a little trash while you’re guarding them. Nothing brash, but for 32 minutes, you are in their domain. They will be your friend afterward, but during the course of the game, you are public enemy number one. These girls from this side of the state have a little sauce in their game. They’re physical, athletic, skilled, and can definitely put on a show.
From Jackson to Memphis and all around, this side of the state has the girls who can just flat out get it done. They’ve honed their skills at an early age from playing with their big brothers or cousins. They pride themselves for being ballers on this side and rightfully so, for many years we’ve had NBA players come from these parts. Though the water from the Tennessee River runs throughout, in these parts, it’s all about the grit and grind. 731, 901, it’s your time to shine Mane! When you see these numbers pop up on your phone. It’s “Game On!” Get ready for a knock-down drag-out.
