Carmen Richardson Carmen Richardson 5'8" | CG Colonial | 2024 State FL 2024, 5’7″ (Colonial) played very well and showed her well-rounded offensive game. Richardson knows how to put the ball in the basket at a levels of the court. Very crafty around the goal. What is truly noticeable about her game is that she can score at any level on the court and score in flurries as she showed with the “one, two, three, four, five” threes in one game. She is definitely one of the best 2024s in the state of Florida.
Eris Lester 2024, 5’10″ (Orange Park) was very impressive in all areas on the court. Offensively, she has a hunger and a drive to score and it is at any level necessary. She uses her length and aggressive defense to set up a lot of her scoring opportunities. She is a good on-ball defender and an even better defender when playing the passing lanes. She has a very good mid-range game and can also shoot from behind the arc. At 5’10″ and versatile, Lester allows a team with 3 guards the flexibility of playing her at the three position. Defensively, Lester has the ability to defend the 1, 2, and 3 positions on the court. Lester’s desire to be great and to be the best player on the court came through “loud and clear” at PGH 250. She is a special talent.
Nina Green 2024, 5’5″ (Brooks Debartalo Collegiate) was very good at the PGH 250 showcase. She handled the ball well and showed that she can put the ball in the Hoop. She had some dribble drives all the way to the basket, some midrange jumpers in the paint, and shot well from the third level of the court as well. Green’s handles were very impressive she plays with great speed. She always was in attack mode when she had the basketball in her hands. Green also showed her passing ability, including some nice passes to players cutting to the basket.
Kiyana Hunter Kiyana Hunter 5'3" | PG Mandarin | 2024 State FL 2024, 5’3″ (Mandarin) had a solid PGH 250 event. Her passing ability and setting up teammates for open shots did not go unnoticed. She made some great passes to players cutting to the basket and did a good job of rewarding the “bigs” who ran the floor. Hunter also did a good job good of advancing the ball up the court and passing to the open shooter on the wings. Hunter was good on the help side defense. Her quick hands allowed her to make several steals and deflections. Offensively, Hunter made some good drives to the basket and showed her ability to shoot from behind the arc.
Claire Coogan Claire Coogan 5'6" | PG Episcopal | 2024 State FL 2024, 5’4″ (Bishop Kenny) was solid at the PGH 250. She showed her versatility by sliding over to the wing in this showcase event. Coogan had several nice drives to the basket, including a floater on the baseline, and several “and-ones” (three-point plays). In addition to drives, Coogan also knocked down a few from behind the arc, which is one of the main parts of her game.
Samantha Bautista 2025, 5’6″ (Slam Miami) had one of the plays of the day at the PGH 250 event. On a drive to the basket (on the right elbow) she impeded, and she immediately changes direction with a wrap-around behind the back dribble. If that is not impressive enough, she picks up the dribble and delivers a left-handed bounce pass to the player cutting to the basket for a layup. She also knocked down a three from the corner and a pull up jumper
