Florida PGH Top250 Stock Risers

The PGH Top 250 in Florida did not disappoint. Players from Georgia and Florida came together to compete in some on court battles. Each game bought a different style of play. However there were a few players that are flying under the radar. Has the ability to play inside the paint as well as on the perimeter. She uses her length to get a lot of deflections. Knows how to play through contact and attacks the basket hard. Has a nice pull-up jump shot. Communicates well with her teammates and has the ability to create her own shot. She never gives up on the play. Has the ability to defend inside the paint and on the perimeter. Sets solid screens to get her teammates open. Crashes the boards hard. High IQ player that sees the floor well. Fundamentally sound player that is a game changer. Always playing with a smile. Does the little things that may not show up in the stat books. Made a lot of great moves to the basket which showed her ability to score through contact. Also showed her range from deep by hitting a few 3 balls on the day. Has great handles which allow her to blow by her defenders. If left open she can knock down the 3 ball consistently. Knows how to find her open teammates in transition. Botelho had a lot of great drives to the basket. Always looking for the best shot. Athletic forward that knows how to play inside out. She creates match up problems at all positions. Has the ability to rip and drive from the high post and wing. Soft touch around the rim. Has a nice stroke from deep and knows how to attack the basket in transition. High motor guard that knows how to create her own shot. Showed she could be a lock down defender at the expo. Knows how to spot up in transition to get her shot off. Knows how to take what the defense gives her. Has a nice pull-up jump shot. She picked a lot of pockets throughout the day. Great on ball defender that got better as the day went on.
