A top member of Illinois’ Class of 2024, Carlson is a premier Point Guard in the state and is poised to have a stellar Sophomore season. Brooke is a terrific ball-handler who plays at a speedy pace with her ability to make quick decisions while taking care of the ball and scoring at every level.
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="335777" first="Sidney" last="Rogers"], 5’4” Guard, Glenbrook South</strong>
Rogers is a shifty lead Guard who can make defenders look silly with her handles and quickness with the ball in her hands. Sidney shoots the ball well from beyond the three-point line with good range and facilitates to her teammates nicely with good court vision and passing skills.
<strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id="335720" first="Nikki" last="Kerstein"], 5’7” Guard, Deerfield</strong>
A rising Freshman with the potential to make an immediate impact at the Varsity level, Kerstein clearly isn’t afraid to take control of the game. She has a consistent jumper from deep and controls the pace of the game with her smooth ball-handling and decision-making abilities.
<strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id="265978" first="Layla" last="Pierce"], 5’7” Guard, Joliet Catholic</strong>
Pierce is a crafty Point Guard who uses her athleticism to push the ball up the floor and attack the paint with speed and confidence. Layla is a plus shooter from deep and uses her high basketball IQ to make necessary passes to set her teammates up for easy buckets.
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="205566" first="Gabrielle" last="Burgess"], 5’8” Guard, Lake Park</strong>
One of the best on-ball defenders in the state, Burgess uses her elite speed and quickness to be a game changer any time she’s on the court. Gabi is a constant threat to opponents in the transition game and has turned into a respected shooter from beyond the three-point line.
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="148142" first="Aspen" last="Weeks"], 5’7” Guard, West Aurora</strong>
Weeks is a strong and playmaking Point Guard who can score in bunches by attacking the paint and finishing through contact. Aspen is an excellent facilitator with great vision and decision making and plays tough on-ball defense against opposing ball-handlers.
<strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id="335765" first="Kiaya" last="Johnson"], 5’3” Guard, De La Salle</strong>
A smooth and savvy ball-handler with tons of playmaking ability, Johnson is an underclassman worthy of attention early on in her high school career. She is a fierce competitor on the defensive end and gets in the lane with ease where she uses a number of skill moves to create open looks at the basket.
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="335787" first="Lizzie" last="Baldridge"], 5’9” Guard, York</strong>
Baldridge is a reliable ball-handler who does an outstanding job of running the offense and making sure things run smoothly. Lizzie is a confident and accurate shooter from beyond the three-point line and can give good versatility with her length and skillset.
