With about 85 players from the Class of 2022 to the Class of 2026 participating in the PGH Top 250 Expo in Kansas City, the class of 2024 was well represented. This is part 1 of the Kansas players that stood out to me from the Class of 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id="192791" first="Maxine" last="Doering"], 5’8, Manhattan – Doering impressed me with her ability to defend a number of positions. At 5’8, she was able to defend smaller guards, but also able to defend in the paint. Rebounds at a high level at both ends very well.
<img class=" wp-image-335592 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/10/48-Ashley-Singhateh-295x300.jpg" alt="" width="158" height="161" />
[player_tooltip player_id="265128" first="Ashley" last="Singhateh"], 5’7, Eureka – A very nice euro-step move in transition caught my eye. Singhateh followed that up with a nice spin move and finish in the half-court. She did a great job of rebounding and finishing through contact.
[player_tooltip player_id="335970" first="Madison" last="SHAW"], 5’7, Mulvane – Shaw started off the day a little slow, but as the day progressed, she got more comfortable and more aggressive. She did a great job of running the floor and I really like her vision in transition. If there was a loose ball, Shaw seemed to be around it.
[player_tooltip player_id="335938" first="Aaliyah" last="Moss"], 5’10, Gardner-Edgerton – With the ball in her hands, Moss does a good job of overpowering smaller guards to the basket. Defensively, she played the passing lanes and got easy baskets.
<img class=" wp-image-335571 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/10/16-Clara-Swearingen-262x300.jpg" alt="" width="146" height="167" />
[player_tooltip player_id="335959" first="Clara" last="Swearingen"], 5’6, Nevada – Always on the attack and probing in the half-court. I thought she saw plays before they developed and did a good job of delivering the ball on time to shooters & scorers.
[player_tooltip player_id="335957" first="Madison" last="Smith"], 5’7, Derby – Smith was all over the floor on both ends. In transition, she was out leading the break. With the ball, she was looking to set up her teammates. In the half-court, she showed the ability to shoot and shoot it from deep.
<img class=" wp-image-335564 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/10/6-Amani-Lipscomb-282x300.jpg" alt="" width="172" height="183" />
[player_tooltip player_id="231281" first="Amani" last="Lipscomb"], 5’2, Andover – At 5’2, Lipscomb was one of the smaller players at the Expo, but one of the biggest hearts. She has elite speed with the ball in her hands. A very good on the ball defender. As smaller guard, Lipscomb has a variety of finishes around the basket.
