The featured image is of [player_tooltip player_id="177310" first="Kennedy" last="Blakely"] (left) of Hammond Bishop Noll Institute and [player_tooltip player_id="324080" first="Ella" last="Mohamed"] (center) of Northridge High School. September 25th the Prep Girls Hoops Network held its third annual Top-250 Expo in Indiana, this time at the Noblesville Boys & Girls Club. There were 119 prospects in attendance, and I’ve already addressed a number of them in articles last week. With 16 teams and just three games per team, it made it difficult to watch most teams in-person for more than a half or so. However, below are some brief thoughts on the remaining prospects from Teams 13 through 16 and how those young ladies performed at the event. TEAM-13: [player_tooltip player_id="59777" first="Ava" last="Sowder"], 2023, Eastern (Pekin) - I highlighted Ava earlier in the week with the 2023 small forwards, and she was really good at this event. She was aggressive to the basket, she finished well at the rim, and she showed a great motor and feel for the game. [player_tooltip player_id="177310" first="Kennedy" last="Blakely"], 2024, Hammond Bishop Noll - Kennedy was a last-minute entrant, but it was nice she was in attendance. She has good length, a wiry-strong frame, and she is poised with the ball in her hands. She can play any of three perimeter positions equally well. [player_tooltip player_id="331784" first="Kaelyn" last="Ortiz-Vaudt"], 2024, Concordia Lutheran - Kaelyn was an interesting perimeter prospect. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, and she’s a well-rounded athlete. She showed a balanced skillset, but the next step is to find her niche for Concordia this year. [player_tooltip player_id="331799" first="Jiselle" last="Chabes"], 2025, Marquette Catholic - Jiselle is a long, fluid, but still somewhat slender perimeter player. She will definitely need to add strength, and the sooner the better, but she showed nice all-around skill and the ability to play either guard spot at times. [player_tooltip player_id="331817" first="Clair" last="Klinger"], 2025, Washington Township - Clair is a shorter guard prospect, but she has an athletic frame, and she plays with an outstanding motor. For Washington Township, I can see her playing on the ball or acting as a scoring option down the road. [player_tooltip player_id="324080" first="Ella" last="Mohamed"], 2025, Northridge - Ella has earned herself the reputation this Fall of being a high-level shooter. But I was honestly more impressed with her complete game at the Top-250. She handled it solidly, she scored some at the rim, and she defended with effort. [player_tooltip player_id="331790" first="Kendall" last="Shives"], 2025, Jeffersonville - Jeffersonville has had quite the run on good guards the last few years, and Kendall is another. She is a wiry-strong kid, a nice athlete, and she’s somewhat crafty with the ball in her hands. Shot also shot it solidly from the perimeter. Team-14: [player_tooltip player_id="203652" first="Autumn" last="Rucker"], 2023, Pike - Autumn had some big moments during the grassroots season, and she again showed her physical prowess on the perimeter at this event. She is such a strong, physical, and aggressive wing, but she’s also a talented athlete in all directions. [player_tooltip player_id="331791" first="Jamie" last="Elliott"], 2024, Carmel - Jamie is a nice, versatile wing who can play a small forward or a bigger guard position. She has nice length, wiry strength, and fluid all-around athleticism. She does a little of everything skillfully, from knocking down jumpers to attacking the basket. [player_tooltip player_id="177327" first="Josie" last="Hayden"], 2024, Castle - Josie continues to grow and improve, and though still somewhat slender, she looked stronger and more confident at the 250. She has nice length, fluid athleticism, and she can handle it in transition and knock down shots in the half-court. [player_tooltip player_id="239350" first="Kiarra" last="Loveless"], 2024, Westfield - "Kiki" is another 2024 prospect who just continues to improve each time out. She is a really nice, bouncy athlete with a wiry-strong frame. She has shown more touch from the perimeter, plus she plays with an outstanding motor. [player_tooltip player_id="326488" first="Alexis" last="Lynch"], 2024, Danville Community - Alexis was extremely active at the Top-250. I don’t know that she stood still once, but she did look like she’s continuing to get stronger. She was aggressive off the bounce, and she was trying to play sort of a point forward role. [player_tooltip player_id="331818" first="Morgan" last="White"], 2024, New Prairie - Morgan has a solid to athletic frame, she moves well in most directions, and she plays with a tremendous motor. She can play physical in the mid-post and will rebound, but she’s also fairly versatile and skilled around the perimeter. [player_tooltip player_id="331767" first="Jillian" last="Mohamed"], 2025, Northridge - Jillian is more of a primary ball-handler than her sister Ella (above). She too has a nice, athletic frame, she has some quickness to her game, and she is a selfless distributor. Jillian also knocked down the open jumper consistently. Team-15: [player_tooltip player_id="59739" first="Izzy" last="Crickmore"], 2023, Center Grove - I really like Izzy’s progression as a prospect, and I think she can really help the Trojans this year. She has nice length, wiry strength, and she’s a smooth and fluid athlete. She has some ball skill and a little touch outside. [player_tooltip player_id="201876" first="Abbie" last="Lucas"], 2024, Bloomington South - I thought Abbie was as good as anyone at the event at finishing around the basket and pursuing rebounds outside of her area. She was very active, she ran the floor hard, and she is showing more and more touch in the mid-post. [player_tooltip player_id="239355" first="Ava" last="Reitmeyer"], 2024, Bloomington North - Ava continues to get stronger and is showing more confidence because of it. She is much more aggressive to the basket than she was a year ago, and she’s starting to become a more physical defender on the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="177342" first="Addisen" last="Mastriano"], 2024, Northeastern - Addisen continues to impress me with her combination of size, skill, and physical ability. She is a powerful post prospect, but she has some length, good bounce and balance, plus she’s skilled at the basket and in the mid-post. [player_tooltip player_id="331768" first="Anyah" last="Jordan-Turley"], 2025, University - Anyah isn’t very tall, but she is strong for her size, she’s physical, and she’s a nice athlete. She is a primary ball-handler, and while she could be a little more dynamic, you aren’t just going to take it from her. She was fun to watch. Team-16: [player_tooltip player_id="331785" first="Myah" last="Johnson"], 2023, Jeffersonville - This was my first time seeing Myah, and she is an intriguing frontline prospect. She has some length, wiry strength, and she’s somewhat bouncy. She played with a nice motor and seemed to be a solid rebounder/defender type. [player_tooltip player_id="331769" first="Kendal" last="Taylor"], 2023, Concord - Kendal is a nice-sized post prospect who had a solid showing on the grassroots circuit. She is physical and seeks contact almost immediately. She has nice hands and can finish inside. Her next step is to stretch her game to the mid-post. [player_tooltip player_id="331819" first="Amya" last="Bass"], 2024, Avon - Amya isn’t very big, but she has really nice speed and quickness, plus she has good length at her height. She played fast and aggressive, and she tried to be dynamic. As she learns how to change speeds, she could be tough to defend. [player_tooltip player_id="295760" first="Hadley" last="Crosier"], 2025, Lanesville - Hadley is one of the better young guards in Southern Indiana, and I’d expect her to make an immediate impact at Lanesville. She has an athletic frame, length, and she can handle and create offense or score it from all spots on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="331792" first="Molli" last="Lucas"], 2025, Bloomington South - Molli is a strong and physical wing who can do a little of everything. She can play in the mid-post, defend, and battle for boards. But she also has solid ball skill, the ability to create off the bounce, and she can knock down open jumpers. [player_tooltip player_id="331803" first="Emma" last="McVey"], 2025, Franklin Central - Emma was very active and athletic all day. She has a long, wiry frame, she handled it some and looked to score on each possession, plus she was solid on the ball defensively. She could stand to play a little lower to the ground. [player_tooltip player_id="295814" first="Nevaeh" last="Wren"], 2025, Avon - Nevaeh is little, but she’s extremely quick, fast, and explosive in all directions. She is a dynamic player off the bounce who is difficult to contain. She can knock down open shots, but she’s much better creating off the dribble right now.
