With the latest 2022 ranking update we’ve surpassed 100 ranked players in the class and almost definitely missed some worthy of ranking. Here’s a look at the top point guards in the Senior class rankings.
[player_tooltip player_id="106154" first="Camryn" last="LaGrange"], Madisonville - Camryn missed last season due to a knee injury but remains one of the best players in Western Kentucky. LaGrange can go and get a bucket on the court or can get a goal on the soccer field. She's committed to WKU for soccer but will have the Maroons in the mix for a regional title.
[player_tooltip player_id="329463" first="Lele" last="Nguyen"], Ryle - One of the best ball handlers in the class, Lele is shifty and capable of getting past defenders with her crisp handles. She's more of a floor general type who is looking to create a shot for teammates and her presence on the court should help a Ryle team loaded with really good shooters.
[player_tooltip player_id="106165" first="Maddie" last="Kauffman"], Tates Creek - One of the leading scorers in Lexington last season, Maddie has been a top guard in the 11th region for the last few seasons and that's likely to continue in her Senior campaign. She's also a versatile and efficient scorer whose game will translate at the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="157971" first="Bayleigh" last="Ennis"], Spencer County - Likely the best pure shooter on this list, Ennis is in line to have a big Senior season for the Bears this year. Bayleigh is a good shooter from deep and can put the ball on the floor and gets to the line consistently where she is a 75% shooter.
[player_tooltip player_id="157973" first="Raven" last="Ennis"], Barren County - A high level scorer who is on the short list of best players in the 4th region, Raven does most of her damage off the dribble but is also more than capable as a catch and shoot player. She does a little bit of everything for Barren, including leading them in rebounding as a Junior.
[player_tooltip player_id="157974" first="Callie" last="Wiegandt"], Holy Cross (Louisville) - One of the best small school players in the Senior class, Callie checks a lot of boxes for Holy Cross as she led them in nearly every offensive category last season.
