Charlotte Hoops Challenge: 2022 Forwards

<p class="p1">Charlotte Hoops Challenge was a two day event full of great talent in the area.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Here are some of the standout 2022 forwards from the event.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="219875" first="Nora" last="Schroeder"] | Charlotte Christian | SF</b></p> <p class="p1">13 points // 12 rebounds // 1 assist // 3 steals // 1 block</p> <p class="p1">Schroeder (pictured above) came out shooting strong from deep.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She can go up high grabbing rebounds even taking some of those coast to coast herself driving hard to the basket.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She runs the floor well scoring in transition.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Her length was a problem on defense causing deflections and steals.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She even showed off her shot blocking ability closing out quickly on her opponent.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="260893" first="Rachel" last="Noonan"] | Charlotte Christian | SF</b></p> <p class="p1">13 points // 8 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 block</p> <p class="p1">Noonan showed some strong post moves in the paint using her height to shoot over her defenders.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She had a nice putback on the offensive side showing she’s ready to score the ball no matter what.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Her jump shots helped close the gap shooting well from midrange all over the court.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="219884" first="IoAnna" last="Giannopoulou"] | Myers Park | SF</b></p> <p class="p1">6 points // 8 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 block</p> <p class="p1">Giannopoulou is a strong rebounder on both ends of the court, and she showed how to score off of putbacks..<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She does a great job moving without the ball passing and cutting ready to put the ball through the hoop once she catches it.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She did well using screens effectively to show off her jump shot.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She blocks shots as well making sure there isn’t an easy path in the paint.</p> <p class="p1"><b>Yahriea Peeler | Shelby | C</b></p> <p class="p1">10 points // 6 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 steal // 1 block</p> <p class="p1">Peeler was a rebounding machine boxing out and grabbing boards for her team, especially late in the game.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She extended plays on the offensive side of the court with her rebounds and scored some points off of putbacks.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She had some nice cuts down the middle of the paint ready to catch the ball and put it through the hoop.</p>
