This week we kicked off the Prep Girls Hoops fall rankings update with the Top 10 players in the Class of 2025. Then we unveiled those freshmen prospects ranked 11th through 25th. Today we give you the rest of the Freshmen 50, the first ranking of Minnesota’s Class of 2025. If history is a good guide, every player in the Top 50 is a solid candidate for a college basketball scholarship. As such, this isn’t an easy milestone to reach. Please scroll down the page to see all of the players who made our initial list of 2025 prospects. We’d first like to highlight five athletes in particular who may not be as well-known as some of the others but have certainly earned their way into this elite group. #35 – [player_tooltip player_id="296747" first="Anna" last="Greene"] – 6’0 forward, Mahtomedi Anna has dealt with some injury issues this year that hampered her ability to demonstrate more clearly what she is capable of. Trust us when we tell you that she is capable of plenty. Greene has a very long wingspan, she’s active on the glass, and uses her length to rebound well. She’s also an active defender who isn’t afraid to get physical. You may recall Anna’s sister Ali who played at Creighton. 36 – [player_tooltip player_id="346166" first="Autumn" last="McCall"] – 6’2 forward, Centennial Autumn’s upside is huge and so is she. It has taken some time for McCall to adjust to a significant amount of growth. After sitting out 2020 due to COVID, McCall eased her way into a prominent role this spring with the Fury. Her performance in the heat of summer made it obvious what she is capable of as McCall was more aggressive on the boards, played with a greater physical presence and shot well north of 50% 39 – [player_tooltip player_id="341735" first="Elle" last="Wildman"] – 5’6 point guard, East Ridge Elle is a soccer player of some renown and doesn’t play AAU because of that. As a result she is not as well-known as the majority of the players in the Freshmen 50. Wildman is one of the most skilled in the class with terrific handles, the ability to play fast, and some of the lightest feet we’ve seen. Wildman’s motor goes non-stop, as well. Let’s hope she chooses the basketball path because watching her is a ton of fun. 41 – [player_tooltip player_id="339191" first="Kailey" last="Korba"] – 5’8 guard, Shakopee Kailey was part of a strong Minnesota Heat squad coached by Bill Hinck, a team with a lot of next-level talent including four players who made the top 50 – #15 [player_tooltip player_id="296530" first="Gracie" last="Winge"], #35 [player_tooltip player_id="296747" first="Anna" last="Greene"], #37 [player_tooltip player_id="346167" first="Mya" last="Karsten"] and Korba at #41. Kailey is a crafty left-hander who can handle the ball, has nice court vision, and always seems to be able to locate a teammate in position for the easy basket. She is also very opportunistic. 44 – [player_tooltip player_id="346181" first="Lydia" last="Schmitter"] – 5’8 guard, Eagan There are a lot of things that stand out about Lydia, but perhaps the most prominent is her speed and quickness. Well that and just how entertaining she is to evaluate. This summer with Minnesota Stars Voyce, we watched Lydia flummox defenses with her athleticism, ball handling, aggressiveness and ability to get to the rim against bigger, stronger players. Defensively she’s got great hands and nice anticipation. THE ENTIRE FRESHMEN 50 1 - [player_tooltip player_id="252387" first="Aaliyah" last="Crump"], 6’0 forward, Minnetonka 2 - [player_tooltip player_id="296523" first="Kendall" last="McGee"], 5’9 guard, Benilde-St. Margaret’s 3 - [player_tooltip player_id="205298" first="Jordan" last="Ode"], 5’11 guard, Maple Grove 4 - [player_tooltip player_id="296513" first="Bree" last="Bowman"], 6’2 wing, Prior Lake 5 - [player_tooltip player_id="252379" first="Addison" last="Mack"], 5’8 guard, Minnehaha Academy 6 - [player_tooltip player_id="296517" first="Katie" last="Kelzenberg"], 6’1 forward, Wayzata 7 - [player_tooltip player_id="296528" first="Sam" last="Wills"], 6’0 guard, Visitation 8 - [player_tooltip player_id="262910" first="Tori" last="Schlagel"], 5’9 guard, Eden Prairie 9 - [player_tooltip player_id="212489" first="Sophie" last="Hawkinson"], 5’7 guard, Wayzata 10 - [player_tooltip player_id="208184" first="Zahara" last="Bishop"], 5’10 guard, Benilde-St. Margaret’s <img class="wp-image-272258 size-medium" style="font-weight: bold;
