Prep Girls Hoops Iowa Class 2A Preseason All-State Teams

As we near the start of the regular season, Prep Girls Hoops Iowa will now be releasing Preseason All-State teams. These selections are made based on their expected impact this season and will not include any incoming freshmen. We will release statewide All-State teams encompassing all classes as well this coming Friday afternoon. Here are the First, Second, and Third Team Prep Girls Hoops Iowa All-State selections as well as the Class 2A Preseason Player of the Year pick. <hr /> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Preseason Player of the Year: [player_tooltip player_id="63634" first="Maddax" last="DeVault"] (Nodaway Valley HS)</strong></span></p> There are a ton of impact players at the 2A level this year but [player_tooltip player_id="63634" first="Maddax" last="DeVault"] gets our nod for 2A Preseason Player of the Year. She led her team in scoring last season at 23.4 points a game and helped her team to a 24-1 record and an appearance at Wells Fargo. Kendra Kuck brought Underwood 13.6 points a game last season while also having 5.1 rebounds a game. [player_tooltip player_id="163332" first="Bailey" last="Reding"] scored 14.1 points a game last season and was able to grab 5.0 rebounds for Grundy Center as well.
