and her play-style but I’ll keep it short and sweet. Davis is a D2 committed prospect, with a D1 talent level. She is going to be competing with the Upper Iowa Peacocks for her foreseeable future and I’m sure she is going to produce whenever she see’s the court. Sometimes you have players out there who just have “it”. They are smooth, calm, and collected at all times. They work relentlessly on the their individual game but understand that they can only be successful if everyone around them buy’s into one common goal. Davis does all of this. She is one of the smoothest moving players out of this 2024 Class and that’s been the case for a few years now. If Davis finds a lot of success over these first couple of collegiate seasons, watch out for a school to come in and sweep her up with some sort of offer. She really has a D1 level ability so it’s more then possible but for now, she is only going to worry about the season in front of her and what she can control.

- 2/2/24 vs Central Decatur – 44 Points (17-31), 7 Rebounds, 7 Assists, 9 Steals, 2 TO’s
Lindsey Davis had quite the week, including a 44 point performance against Central Decatur on Friday night to help her Nodaway Valley Wolverines squad to a victory. Davis has been a featured player the past few weeks for a number of reasons, the most recent being for one specific contest this past week. On Friday evening, Davis registered 44 points, 7 Rebounds, 7 Assists, 9 Steals, and 2 Turnovers. This is one of those games that I’m sure she is going to remember for the rest of her life. Not only did she score at Will throughout this whole thing but she also had high numbers in almost every other positive statistical category and her team won by a large margin. From a coaches perceptive, you can’t ask for much more than that. Next season Davis will take her talents to an Upper Peacocks team to continue on her basketball journey. A place where I think she is going to be able to thrive over her collegiate career.

compete the past three seasons but this one was the most important for me. In my eyes, she needed to be productive every single contest, showing me that she will always show up and that’s what she has done up until this point. For the Nodaway Valley Wolverines this winter, Davis has been vital. She is making big plays and having some of her best nights when it matters the most. In this Update, Davis moves into the Top 10 for this Senior Class. She has been too productive and consistent, all while playing at a high rate this winter for her not to jump up a few spots. She has proven countless times that she is a true hooper and someone that a coach can put their trust into in clutch time. Can’t really ask for much more then that.

of Nodaway Valley High School had some options as to where she wanted to play following her high school career but at the end of the day, the Upper Iowa Peacocks were the final choice. Davis is a guard that can score the ball and do some other productive things at an efficient rate on the floor. In general, she is smooth and displays a great “feel” for the game. Something that I am big on is how a player looks out on the court and the “feel” they have for the ball/sport in general. You can tell when someone is comfortable and natural with the ball out on the floor compared to when someone is inexperienced. Davis’s game-style does translate to the next level and I’m excited to see how the coaching staff will adapt to her, once she gets on campus. Over the next 3-4 years, if she is put in the correct positions to succeed by her staff, she could be a big-time scoring producer for the Peacocks. There is always so many factors that play into the college level-part of the sport so until then, Davis will just worry about what she can control and will lock in for her upcoming Senior season with the Wolverines.

Nodaway Valley High School is going to have a shot at the 2A State Title this season if they play their cards right and a big reason for that being possible is because of

. Davis is a guard that is swift with the ball but disciplined. She displays on a consistent basis that she is superior to most with her mixture of guard-like skill-set and fundamental play out on the court. Davis moves up to the #11 spot in this Rankings Update with a good chance to break the Top 10 this winter. If she comes out firing on all cylinders and shows me that she can make everyone else around her better, she will be in a favorable spot come December’s Update.

Multiple level scoring threat. Good with the ball in her hands. Solid height while being athletic. Maybe second smallest player listed on this roster but she sure won’t play like it. Can play the 1-3 depending on situations. Elite 2-way player.

keeps moving up on this list and its really easy to see why. Davis, a player with an act of putting the ball in the hoop at an extreme rate, showed off her ability on both sides of the floor this season. Stacking up some major numbers on offensive and taking care of buisness on defense to help her team put together a rather successful year. Davis isn’t committed to anywhere as of yet but I expect her interest and offers to really ramp up over this summer. A player who has all the basketball skill you could ask for, nice size at around 5’8/5’9, and dynamic leader that will do anything to see her team win. This is a receipe for a great player at the next level in the right situation. Whoever lands her is getting a steal out of this class.

and Nodaway Valley have put together a season to remember thus far, starting off to a 15-4 record, 11-0 in conference while Davis is leading the team by averaging 26.4 PPG on 48% shooting. She is also dishing out 3.5 APG in attempts to move the ball, making their offense more versatile and harder to defend. Coming into Friday evening Davis is leading the state in scoring for the junior class with 475 total points, the next closest being 406 scored by

, a 69 point difference. Other then the clear scoring skill from the versatile guard there is another stat that really jumps off the film and it’s her ability to defend. She has quick feet, good hands, and an act for taking away the ball from her opponent. She is currently tied for #1 ranked in the junior class in steals this season with 94, giving her about 5.1 per game. An incredible average to have in this category and a testament to how dedicated she is on the defensive side of the ball. I am curious to as of where she will end up for her college career. She is a solid talent on both sides of the floor and has shown that she can lead a team to a successful season as their undivided leader. She possesses every attribute that will make her a success at the next level, just depends where. She is the type of player in my book that a college coach can trust in to lead a team and program in the longevity of things.
