<em><strong>Prep Girls Hoops Predictions: </strong></em>
1.Loris - The Lady Lions will be strong favorites to win the region again this season after finishing (7-2) last year.
2.Waccamaw HS - The Lady Warriors made the playoffs last season and ran into Bishop England in the opening round.
3.Dillon HS - The Lady Wildcats will stay in the middle of the pack.
4.Georgetown HS - Former Bulldogs Head Coach Alvin "Stitch" Walker looks to be running the show this year for the Lady Bulldogs. Former Lady Bulldogs player <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="250480" first="Jerchel" last="Geathers"]</strong> transferred to Carvers Bay HS this past summer.
5.Aynor HS - The Lady Blue Jackets finished (1-6) last season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="348140" first="JaLynn" last="Johnson"] (2022) - Loris HS - Prep Girls Hoops Preseason Region Player of the Year </strong>
Johnson is back with the Lady Lions after averaging 10.8 ppg last season. Johnson will look to control the paint this season while the Lady Lions look to move onto in the post season.

Bellamy sets the tone for the Lady Lions offense. Jallyssa has a good handle and rarely turns the ball over. Bellamy averaged 8.9 ppg last season. Jallyssa plays the game with a tough mind set and isn’t afraid to dive on the floor for a loose ball.

Frazier plays in the paint for the Lady Wildcats. Rhanyai stays active on the floor and moves well around from side to side. She needs to do a better of staying out of foul trouble.

Smith is back for the Lady Warriors after averaging 8.2 ppg last season. Kiara will have to have a breakout season for the Lady Warriors to make some noise this season in the region.

Lawton showed some good glimpses this summer of play running with the Confidence Cougars on the Grassroots Circuit. Lawton can rebound the ball on both ends of the floor.
