Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Class of 2023 standouts from last weekend’s Lutheran St. Charles Tournament.
[player_tooltip player_id="170621" first="Megan" last="Aulbert"] 6’2 Lutheran St Charles: The talented post player had a big performance in the championship game with 21 points and 15 rebounds. She is strong and she has an excellent set of fundamentals in the post. She establishes a great base and she can finish well. She missed only one shot in the finals. She gets excellent position to rebound and she keeps the ball high. She also throws a nice outlet pass.
[player_tooltip player_id="204484" first="Kayla" last="Sullivan"] 5’11 Lutheran North (pictured): A versatile small forward who earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team after averaging 16 points in the tournament. She's athletic and strong enough to get buckets in the paint and rebound, but she can handle the ball and score off the dribble. She also showed to be a solid 3-point shooter in the tournament.
Binta Fall 5’11 MICDS: A solid forward who is capable of playing several spots on the floor and still be effective. She's physically strong and she can handle herself quite well in the low post with power moves and good footwork. She can also handle the ball and step out and hit the perimeter shot. She averaged 14 points and six rebounds in the tournament.
Raven Addison 6’0 Lutheran North: A versatile combo forward who is very comfortable handling the ball and playing the playmaker role as shown by the 3.5 assists a game that she currently averages. She is under control and she dropped some nice dimes on the move. She's an excellent all-purpose player who can fill several different roles to help her team succeed.
Chelsey Nwamu 5'9" MICDS: A young forward who was very solid in helping the Rams to a third-place finish in the tournament. She's strong and she knows how to maneuver her way around the lane to get rebounds and layups in the paint. She is a very active player who gives a strong effort at both ends of the court.
