Idreanna Bargeron | Andrew Jackson | ’22
Idreanna has started her senior campaign off with a bang. First, she had a game-winning assist to teammate Jasnea Hall-McDowell against Orange Park in the preseason. Now, she has a game-winning jump shot in the first game of the regular against University Christian. Idreanna is known for her defense but has started off this season looking to focus on her offensive game. With consistent offense, she is sure to garner attention from more colleges as her defense is already stellar.
Taijshiah “Tai” Baldwin | University Christian | ’22
Tai is a slasher and has an explosive first step that allows her to get to the basket and score with ease. She also has a decent jump shot, can score at all 3 levels, and gets to the free-throw line consistently. She is averaging 22 points per game in the first week of the regular season. Tai is not just an offensive player. She can guard multiple positions and uses her defensive pressure to force turnovers. She is off to an impressive start to her senior campaign.

Sydney has started her senior year off with a bang. She has led her team to a 2-0 record in the first week of the season scoring 32 points against Buchholz and 24 points against Orange Park. The New York native seems to enjoy playing in Florida and will continue that play after high school in college at Florida Southern. For now, she looks to lead her team deeper in the playoffs and finish her high school career as one of the best in Northeast Florida.
Fantasia James Fantasia James 5'10" | SF Oakleaf | 2023 State FL | Oakleaf | ’23
After sitting out during fall league and part of the preseason, Fantasia was probably anxious for the regular season to start. She definitely showed it leading her team to a 2-0 record in week one scoring 22 points against Columbia and 33 points against University Christian. She didn’t seem fazed with the added pressure of her new role as the number one option after the departure of Taliah Scott Taliah Scott 5'8" | SG St. John's Country Day | 2023 State #31 Nation FL . She is showing that she can score at will even when all of the attention is on her.
Kamiyah Jones | Oakleaf | ’23
Kamiyah has proved to be a valuable addition as a knock-down 3-point shooter as much of their outside shooting either graduated or transferred. She caught fire and hit eight 3-pointers and scored 26 points against Columbia. She followed that up with a solid performance against University Christian with 12 points. She will be a good 3rd option alongside Fantasia James Fantasia James 5'10" | SF Oakleaf | 2023 State FL and Kaylah Turner Kaylah Turner 5'5" | PG Oakleaf | 2023 State FL going forward this season.
Taliah Scott Taliah Scott 5'8" | SG St. John's Country Day | 2023 State #31 Nation FL | St. John’s Country Day School | ’23
If you don’t know who Taliah Scott Taliah Scott 5'8" | SG St. John's Country Day | 2023 State #31 Nation FL is, you will surely know it after the start she has had to the season. She has had an incredible start to her high school career in her first two seasons and has gained national recognition that we haven’t seen in Northeast Florida since maybe Rennia Davis. Now, in her junior season at a new school, the recent Arkansas commit has scored 55 points against Atlantic Coast and 43 points against Baker County in the first two games of the year. If she keeps on this pace, Taliah will likely achieve the rare feat of scoring 1000 points in a single season. Which would give her 2000 points for her high school in just her junior season, also a rarity over a 3-year span.
