The 2021-22 season is off and running across the Commonwealth. Here’s a look at some of the best games in the week ahead. This is not a list of the only good games around the state but rather a list of top matchups. Not all the best games will make the list each week. Monday: and Shelby Valley go up against high scoring and Leslie County in the WYMT Mountain Classic. Good matchup of post players when Corinne Trammel and McCreary Central battle with and Garrard County. Tuesday: and Apollo square off against Hannah Yates and Webster County. and Boyle County host and East Jessamine in an early season 12th region tilt. Big game in the 6th region as a talented Butler squad travels to Bullitt East to face and the Lady Chargers. Wednesday: and Great Crossing host and Franklin County as part of the Toyota Classic. Thursday: and Lafayette travel to LCA to take on and the Lady Eagles in a district game. and Woodford County head to North Oldham to face in an 8th region game. Friday: Good district matchup in the 5th region when and Nelson County make the short trip to Bardstown to face off with and the Lady Tigers. and Cooper make the trip across town to face and Conner in a good 9th region game. Saturday: There are a ton of classics and showcases that are going on Saturday.
