[player_tooltip player_id="253660" first="Liberty" last="Whack"] - East Clarendon HS (Turbeville)
Whack really benefits playing with Cooper at East Clarendon HS. Liberty looks to leak out and get several cheapies on the other end of the floor when Cooper is throwing a long touchdown pass. She came up big today in a win by scoring 26 points on several buckets right at the basket. Whack a forward does most of her damage inside the paint area on put backs and layups.

[player_tooltip player_id="124090" first="Talaysia" last="Cooper"] - East Clarendon HS (Turbeville)
Cooper a University of South Carolina Gamecock next season did it all today with was us at Prep Girls Hoops in attendance. Talaysia can really stuff a stat sheet with her play. Cooper finished with 21 points, 26 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 blocks today vs Ashley Ridge. Talaysia has GREAT LENGTH to be disruptive in the passing lanes or by blocking and altering shots down low. So many times, today she was able to bring the ball up the floor and find an open teammate after claiming a rebound and going coast to coast. Cooper should have a chance to approach 3,000 career points sometime in region play after the new year. Stay tune for a great career and a future Lady Gamecock.

[player_tooltip player_id="158920" first="Alexia" last="Grant"] - First Baptist (Charleston)
Grant will head up the Sun Belt Conference next season to play at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Grant and her teammates ran into a buzzsaw today when I saw them play McEachern (GA). Grant finished the day with 16 points despite not playing with teammate [player_tooltip player_id="171771" first="Tiana" last="Spann"] a Winthrop University signee not in attendance. Alexia kept the Lady Hurricanes in the game till the bitter end. She was able to get the ball to the cup at times when she wasn’t knocking down perimeter jumpers.
[player_tooltip player_id="264985" first="Zakiyah" last="Moss"] - JL Mann HS (Greenville) (pictured on front)
Moss and her teammates lost to St Francis (GA) in this game today when Prep Girls Hoops was in attendance. Zakiyah can really create her own shot and shoot the ball well off the bounce. Zakiyah kept her Lady Patriots in this game till the end before falling. She really has a SMOOTH looking stroke while getting good elevation off on her shot.
[player_tooltip player_id="175310" first="Diamond" last="Thompson"] - Ashley Ridge HS (Summerville)
Thompson might not be the biggest player on the floor, but she did pile up some points today. Diamond connected on several floaters on the way to the basket along with dropping some perimeter jumpers from behind the arc. She plays the game with a bit more of an offensive mind for the Lady Swamp Foxes.
[player_tooltip player_id="173097" first="Albany" last="Wilson"] - South Florence HS
Wilson and her teammates only played 1 game here this week before having to sit out the rest of the event. Wilson dropped 20 points in an opening round win for the Lady Bruins. Albany has scoring the ball on her mind at all times. She was able to score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor today. Can the Lady Bruins make some noise in Class 4A this season? Stay tune right here to Prep Girls Hoops and follow along.
