United Bank Holiday Invitational: 2024 Top Performers

The United Bank Holiday Invitational got started on Saturday in Myrtle Beach at the John T. Rhodes Sports Center. Read more in this article. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="199693" first="Dianna" last="Blake"] - Ashley Ridge HS (Summerville) (pictured on front)</strong> Blake did the best she could do at times today for the Lady Swamp Foxes vs East Clarendon HS. Blake recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds according to my unofficial state. Dianna is best when she stays 2-4 feet in from the bucket - the closer in the better she is on the floor. She was able to draw contact and get to the foul line at a good clip. Dianna who has an older sister player college ball still has her best basketball in front of her down the road. Pratt does a really good job of keeping the ball up high when rebounding it. Anna can carve out space down low and really has a soft set of hands. She can finish over both shoulders and even step out to the short corner for a jump shot. Seaberry is generally shot ready to receive the ball at all times. Yannah plays the game with a good feel for it and knowledge. Jakayla was able to spot up on the wing or take the ball to the rack at times today. She does a good job of playing active away from the ball and always has her feet moving on the defensive end of the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="366577" first="Mikiah" last="Thompson"] - Westwood HS </strong> Thompson at times looks to be the floor general for the Lady Redhawks. Thompson a point guard is able to finish at the rim with her left-hand when she is not making passes to her teammates. Mikiah does a good job of playing active in the passing lanes in picking up deflections and steals.
