Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the Class of 2022 standouts who showed up and showed out in this past week’s holiday tournament championship games.
[player_tooltip player_id="162388" first="Saniah" last="Tyler"] (Incarnate Word): The 5-7 guard scored 18 points in the Red Knights’ 69-47 victory in the championship of the Visitation Christmas Tournament. The University of Kentucky recruit was named the Most Valuable Player of the Viz Tournament.
[player_tooltip player_id="107958" first="Averi" last="Kroenke"] (Rock Bridge): The 5’11" guard had 21 points, 14 rebounds and six assists in the Bruins victory over undefeated Sacred Heart (KY) in the championship game of the Naples Holiday Festival in Florida. She also scored her 1,000th career point in the victory.
Bella Fontleroy (Kickapoo): The 6’2" forward scored 23 points in the Chiefs 50-39 victory over Republic in the championship game of the Pink & White Tournament Pink Division championship game.
Lexi Rubel (Cape Notre Dame): The 6’1" forward had 25 points, 12 rebounds and three assists to lead the Bulldogs to a 55-42 victory over Delta in the championship game of the FSCB Classic at SEMO.
[player_tooltip player_id="107970" first="Claudia" last="Hadlock"] (Miller): The 5’8" guard scored 28 points in the Cardinals’ 39-34 victory over Sparta in the championship game of the Morris Brothers Holiday Tournament at Walnut Grove. She scored all of Miller’s 18 points in the fourth quarter to rally her team from a 10-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter.
[player_tooltip player_id="107965" first="Savannah" last="Campbell"] (Rolla): The 6’2" forward had 18 points and 10 rebounds in Rolla’s 59-29 victory over Fatima in the championship game of the Rolla Oral Surgery Tournament.
Kianna Hererra (LeBlond): The 5’11" guard scored a game-high 18 points in LeBlond’s 66-34 victory over Plattsburg in the championship game of the LeBlond Tournament. Hererra averaged 21 points a game in the tournament.
Skyeler Layman (Crocker): The 5’6" guard scored 25 points in Crocker’s victory over Dadeville in the championship game of the Weaubleau Tournament.
