Recent 1000 Point Scorers

Hitting the 1000th career point mark is a huge accomplishment in high school basketball in Michigan. It comes as a result of multiple years of playing at a high level. Here are some of the players in Michigan that have reached the 1000 point mark this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147782" first="Anna" last="Fernandez"] (2022, PG, Plymouth Christian)</strong> Fernandez has been a bona fide sharpshooter for Plymouth Christian. She has in the gym range on her jumper and can bury a triple even when contested. It feels like she could hit 1000 points on triples alone. <strong>Ashton Hord (2022, PG, North Dickinson)</strong> Hord is an underrated up north superstar. She’s a terrific ball handler that attacks the rim and finishes with her strength and toughness. Hord sees the court and finds, and makes, even the smallest lanes to the rim. She’s a smart player that can make something out of nothing. Hord is strong and can play through contact. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="227590" first="Mary" last="Lengemann"] (2022, SF, Imlay City)</strong> Lengemann has been a testament to consistency throughout her high school career. She’s been an efficient scorer night in and night out. Lengemann has an extremely high basketball IQ and recognizes good looks at the rim. <strong>Hillary Myers (2022, SF, Parma Western)</strong> Myers is having yet another solid season of high school basketball. She's an excellent shooter with range that extends beyond the 3 point line. Myers has the ability to score playing off the ball and is a very efficient scorer. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178863" first="Ally" last="Schultz"] (2022, CG, St. Ignace)</strong> Schultz has been a leader since she stepped into high school. She can flat out shoot the ball and has a knack for hitting them in big moments. Schultz is very comfortable being a go to scorer. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147736" first="Ellie" last="Toney"] (2022, SF, Corunna)</strong> Toney is such a tough matchup and she’s been frustrating defenders throughout her high school career. Toney is a terrific shooter, but can also score from all 3 levels. She’s underrated as an overall athlete. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178870" first="Arlonna" last="Twitty"] (2022, SF, Advanced Tech)</strong> Twitty has been a scoring threat off the wing for years now. She’s a creative scorer that can break down the defense. The athletic finisher recently scored 1000th in a loss to River Rouge.
