Mercy Wins The IAAM B Conference Championship

Mecy had a dominate regular season in conference play going 14-0 and 20-1 overall. Concordia came in at 9-5 in league play and 16-7 overall. Mercy took control of this game in the second quarter and led 29-13 at the half. They rolled to a 67-34 victory to claim the B conference 2 championship. She had a dominant freshman season and took the leadership role right away. She continued that in the championship game and was not to be denied. She poured it on from the start of the game to the finish and Concordia did not have an answer for her. She pulled out the full arsenal of step back jumpers, turn around jumpers, no look passes and strong drives to the hoop. She finished with a game high 26 points. &nbsp; <strong>McKenna Carroll, Mercy, 2023, Forward </strong> McKenna provided her usual post presence and set some good screens for her teammates. She is an elite three point shooter and also has good ball handling skills. She is an exceptional athlete and a good floor general as she has great vision and throws good passes. She mixed it up in the paint and rebounded well. She finished with 11 points.
