I think I say this every year, but watch out for Hartland and Howell. The amount of talent on these 2 rivals is amazing. They will be squaring off on Tuesday at Hartland in one of the biggest and best games of the week. Howell features [player_tooltip player_id="147743" first="Maeve" last="St. John"], a top 20 ranked prospect in the senior class. They also have stars like guard [player_tooltip player_id="230785" first="Molly" last="Deurloo"] who is currently ranked number 25 in the junior class. [player_tooltip player_id="362289" first="Sophie" last="Daugard"] is a rising star in the class of 2023 and has provided a punch from the wing. Hartland is loaded with talent up and down the bench. [player_tooltip player_id="147741" first="Gracey" last="Metz"], and senior guard, is having a terrific senior season as an aggressive leader. [player_tooltip player_id="147739" first="Amanda" last="Roach"] is a high energy guard that gets it done on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="147746" first="Lauren" last="Sollom"] is a matchup nightmare.
Rachel Resio is quickly making a name for herself. The junior guard from Swan Valley is a vastly improved scorer that can fill it up with her jumper from many different spots on the floor. Keep your eyes on her because we might just be seeing the tip of the iceberg in her development.

[player_tooltip player_id="188581" first="Sydney" last="Hendrix"] (2023, SF, West Bloomfield) received an offer from Central Michigan University. She’s a highly skilled and versatile wing with big time upside. She’s easily a top 10 talent in the state and has a big upside on top of that.

There is a lot of very legitimate post talent in Michigan right now and we’re seeing the depth during this high school season. [player_tooltip player_id="256554" first="Keelyn" last="Laird"] (2023, C, Ludington) is a great example. At 6-3, she has the size and length to control the lane, but she can also get out and run the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="335981" first="Alice" last="Max"] is another talented post player to be aware of in the state. She’s a 6-1 freshman power forward at Rochester. She’s had some really impressive games this season and really showed her potential at the PGH Michigan Top 250 last October. Max not only went toe to toe with some of the best in the state, but she excelled and stood out. She establishes position and rebounds well on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="336006" first="Jaslynn" last="Ward"] is a freshman guard with a ton of upside. She flaunted her game and was super impressive at the Flight Hankamp Open Run at Lake Michigan College in the fall. The rising St. Joseph star can make plays by putting the ball on the floor. She has a nice crossover move that she can take either direction and stagger her defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id="182921" first="Alyna" last="Lewis"] (2022, G, Parma Western) has put her name Western’s record books. The senior grabbed career rebound number 504 to break the previous mark. Lewis is a talented guard that can hit a ton of different areas on a stat sheet.
