Bailey Gilmore Bailey Gilmore 6'3" | PF Bradwell Institute | 2023 State GA has impressed all season and had one of her biggest performances in the semifinal game against Statesboro. Posting a double-double and knocked down 2 triples. She showed her ability to showcase her ball-handling and outside shooting. A player that has nice footwork on the block and knows how to finish at the rim. Has the ability to play and guard all 5 positions.
Taniyah Bowman Taniyah Bowman 5'2" | PG Bradwell Institute | 2023 State GA I 5’3 I PG I 2023 I Bradwell
Bowman is a one-woman press breaker. She faced numerous face guards throughout the tournament. One of the quickest players with a basketball. Gets up the floor quickly and knows how to get to the free-throw line. If the drive is taken away, she knows how to stop and pop in transition. A true floor general that knows how to score at will.
Shamya Flanders I 6’0 I SF I 2023 I Brunswick
Flanders is a player that has shown why she will be in the conversation for Region Player of the Year. A player that has the ability to score at will inside the paint. She is a walking double-double. She was the leading scorer in the region tournament for her team. She and Jackson know how to run the high low with consistency. Showed her ability to drop step on the block and score at will. A walking double-double. Has some of the quickest footwear on the block.
Shane’ Jackson Shane’ Jackson 6'3" | C Brunswick | 2023 State GA I 6’4 I C I 2023 I Brunswick
Jackson creates matchup problems with her ability to catch it high and keep it high. With her 6’7 wingspan, it’s hard to block her shot. She and Flanders put a post-show in the region tournament. A player that knows how to attack the boards and get second chance opportunities around the rim. Also runs the floor well in transition. Knows how to clog up the paint to make it tough for anyone to score in the paint. A player that should be in the running for Region 2-6A player of the year.
Akirria Mountain I 5’5 I PG I 2022 I Glynn Academy
Mountain improved so much as the season went on. She showed her ability to knock down big shot after big shot. A 3-point specialist that is averaging 3 makes per game. She the floor well and knows how to handle the pressure. When the team needed a bucket in the tournament she was clutch scoring at all 3 levels. A player that proved she was ready to play this season after her season-ending injury last season. She provided a spark for her Lady Terror Team.
Terrika Gibson I 5’8 I SG I 2022 I Statesboro
Gibson put on a 3 point shooting clinic during the region tournament. Always moving without the ball and finding her spots on the floor. Ready to shoot off the dribble and on the pass. She really found her stroke consistently knocking it down from behind the arc. Also showed her ability to get out in transition and score easy buckets at the rim. A 2022 SG and PG that is still unsigned. College Coaches take a look at Gibson.
Madison Lee Madison Lee 6'0" | SF Statesboro | 2022 State GA I 6’1 I Combo I 2022 I Statesboro
Lee is a game-changer with her ability to bring high energy from start to finish. Where she goes her team goes. Always ready to get up and pressure her opponents 94 ft. Uses her height to her advantage. Had the opportunity to watch her play all season and it’s hard to believe she is still unsigned. Her ability to score at all 3 levels should be a green light to coaches at the next level. Always playing hard on both ends of the floor.
