2024 [player_tooltip player_id="217665" first="Sofia" last="Mendez"] had a nice season for Miami Country Day. The 5-foot-7 guard finished third on the team with 9.3 points per game and shot 42 percent from the field. Moreover, Mendez hit a team-best 49 3-pointers at a 37 percent rate. In the regional semifinals, she hit six 3-pointers on Somerset Academy Silver Palms.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id="217669" first="Jade" last="Leon"] had 19 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in Palmer Trinity’s regional semifinals loss to Westminster Academy. In the district final, she had 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists against Somerset Academy Silver Palms. The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 13.7 points and seven boards and 3.3 steals per game.

2025 [player_tooltip player_id="243896" first="Jade" last="Jones"] had 20 points and seven boards while shooting 9-of-13 (69 percent) from the field against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in the 3A regional finals. Her nine makes tied her season-high. Per latest information, she was averaging 12.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game while shooting 51 percent from the floor. Jones’ stock was already high and should only rise this summer.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id="221843" first="Samantha" last="Vales"] is having a great February with five double-figure scoring efforts. The 5-foot-3 guard scored 22 points in a pair of games against Dade Christian and Berean Christian. In addition, Vales combined for nine 3-pointers in those games. Over 26 games, she was averaging 14.4 points, 3.8 assists, three rebounds and 3.5 steals per game. Vales has been playing at the Varsity/JV level dating back to the sixth grade.
Adena Webster - Miami Pace
2024 Adena Webster scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds in her final outing of the season against Mater Lakes Academy. The 5-foot-8 guard averaged 16.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 52 percent from the field. Per information, Webster scored in double-figures in 17 of 18 games this season. 2025 [player_tooltip player_id="221662" first="Alessandra" last="Bonilla"] is another player to watch for the Spartans. Per information, she went 39-of-86 (45 percent) from deep this season.
Jim’Miyah Branton - SLAM!
2025 Jim'Miyah Branton has a bright future for Miami SLAM. In the district final against Killian, she had a season-high of 27 points and 18 rebounds. Overall, the 5-foot-8 guard scored in double-figures in 14 of 17 games. Branton averaged 12.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 3.1 steals per game.
