Ramiya White Ramiya White 6'4" | C Butler | 2024 State KY – 6’4″ – Butler
White has the size and shills needed to play her position at the highest levels of the game. Starting next season she is likely the most dominant Center in the Commonwealth if she has the necessary desire.
In only 15 games due to a transfer, she has tallied 10.4 points on 58.3% field goal shooting and 6.1 rebounds per game on a team that did not feature her in the offense.
Angelina Pelayo Angelina Pelayo 6'3" | C Sacred Heart | 2024 State KY – 6’1″ – Sacred Heart
Pelayo has been a key contributor in back-to-back State Championships for a team just as likely to do it again. I would not be surprised to learn that she is taller than 6’1″ and she has incredible length and a sturdy frame that she put to great use.
Her most impressive stat, she made 63.5% of her field goals on the season for 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds. She is the lone Center returning on her team next season and poised to explode statistically. I don’t know how many offers she has but look for that to increase exponentially.
Sarah Baker Sarah Baker 6'2" | C Ryle | 2024 State KY – 6’2″ – Ryle
What is most outstanding about Baker is her high motor and her ability to defend both in the paint and on the perimeter. I see her as a D1 Power Forward on most rosters or a Center on a team that wants to play very fast.
One Coach approached me looking for a player like her in the Senior Class and it wasn’t until just now I realized this is who they want. (Too bad she still has to finish high school, Coach).
On a team loaded with talent and facing some of the best programs in the Commonwealth, Baker has averaged 9.2 points, on 52.4% field goals shooting, and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Julia Hunt Julia Hunt 6'1" | C Holy Cross (Covington) | 2024 State KY – 6’1″ – Holy Cross (Covington)
Hunt flew under our radar all season until the All A Classic (in part because I got game times wrong just before the Winter Break) when she put up a Triple-Double with double digits blocked shots.
She was incredibly impressive and may have the best scoring package in her class. She averaged 16 points per game on 54,8% shooting and 10.9 rebounds per game. I would not be surprised to see her continue to rise in our rankings now that she is finally in them.
Jasmine Jordan Jasmine Jordan 6'2" | C Boyd County | 2024 State KY – 6’3″ – Boyd County
Jordan is a rim runner and a glass eater that moves so well without the ball to get open in the Offense making her hard to defend. She tallied 10.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game on the season and made 75.8% of her free throws.
She was an important part of what drove her team into this year’s KHSAA Sweet 16. Looking forward to seeing her play during some of this summer’s PGH events.
Katie Marcum Katie Marcum 5'11" | C Martin County | 2024 State KY – 5’11” – Martin County
Marcum has a reliable power dribble to use in the post and averaged 16.2 points and 9 rebounds on the season. Unfortunately, I was only able to see her play in a situation where her team was out-matched so I don’t know much more than that.
