As the state tournament is wrapping up have 4 teams left in Division I and Division II. These teams played hard and up to their potential to be able to keep advancing, Now we are down to Day 1 of the Semi-Finals for Division II and Day 1 of the Semi-Finals tomorrow. These will be some good games and good matchups. Let's take a look below of the 8 teams. Mason- has been dominating force to deal with, the play of their bigs and guard play has been outstanding, they own the boards with their 6ft 6 post player in [player_tooltip player_id="32617" first="Kyla" last="Oldacre"] who is looking to take her team to the D1 state championship, if she gets rolling everyone else will fill in the rest.  Her presence on the floor will demand a double team to where she will see the open player to knock down the open shot. We will how controlling she will be in the paint and if she can lead her team to the championship. Reynoldsburg- The way they have been playing lights out with their top scorers hitting on every cylinder they will be the team to beat, With two of them being two games away they are going to give you everything they got, with the rest of their team. Nothing will be easy they are going to pressure you to  take shots you normally don’t take, with the smooth outside play of [player_tooltip player_id="211792" first="Mya" last="Perry"] and the inside play of [player_tooltip player_id="32618" first="Imarianah" last="Russell"] they are going to be a hard team to stop Jackson has impressed a lot of people, they have been playing some good basketball to make their way to Dayton. They have multiple players who can score and defend this will be one of their biggest challenges against 6ft 6 player. They will have to play good team defense to and turn it into offense and run. With the lead play of [player_tooltip player_id="93552" first="Leena" last="Patibandla"], Halle Ignacio, [player_tooltip player_id="92514" first="Emma" last="Dretke"] and [player_tooltip player_id="214493" first="Lauren" last="Pallotta"] it should be a fun game to watch. Whitehouse Anthony Wayne playing team ball, everyone is getting involved in the game with a fist full of seniors on their roster they don't give up, and this may be one of their toughness challenge yet. They will have to keep playing how they have been in in Districts and Regionals and with these senior players Patyon Miller Amelia Womak and others they are going to make sure that happens, they move well without the ball and when they are open they will knock it down this game will be one to watch keep your eyes out for key players and matchups. Bishop Hartley is a good team to watch, they are skilled from the guard position to the post. Guards have stepped up their game as well as the forwards. [player_tooltip player_id="313102" first="Kiarra" last="McElrath"] knows how to control the game but she can score with the best of them, Ella Brandewie plays good help-side defense can score, boxes out and runs the floor well and [player_tooltip player_id="312650" first="Alexis" last="Cashwell"] plays tight defense and runs the floor, she knows where to be at on the floor. As long as each player plays their part they will be in the state title game. Norton good well-coach team played consistent basketball to make it up to this point, they have to keep playing that way if they want to win it all. From guards to the post everyone now’s what to expect in a high-intensity game. As long as the guards in Bailey Shutsa plays great the rest of the panthers will be right next to her. Sheridan looking to make a quick impact with their upcoming game with their leader in [player_tooltip player_id="32621" first="Faith" last="Stinson"], who can control the game with her size and frame, she makes it difficult for the defender to stop her she is very versatile which makes this a hard team to beat. This team moves well without the ball, screens and they can hit the shot from 3. Guard play will be big in the semi-finals let's keep a watch. Archbishop Alter is a dominant team that can keep up with anyone no matter what they are up against. They have a good core of all-around players that can get the job done inside and outside with the play [player_tooltip player_id="269820" first="Caraline" last="Kernan"], [player_tooltip player_id="269818" first="Karlie" last="Romer"] & [player_tooltip player_id="217360" first="Riley" last="Smith"] they are one hard team to beat, they score quickly and play solid defense, They are going to give it their all every possession if you don’t keep up they will run away with the game.
