Lets take a look…
Jim’Miyah Branton – SLAM Miami
2025 Jim’Miyah Branton as one of the best rebounding guards I saw this season. Overall, the 5-foot-7 guard averaged a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game. Branton had seven games with 10 or more boards. Her athleticism and anticipation to read the basketball off a missed shot was superb. Branton also averaged 12.8 points, 3.1 assists and 3.1 steals per game. We have her 7th overall in our class rankings.
Gianna Corbitt Gianna Corbitt 6'1" | SF Blanche Ely | 2024 State FL – Blanche Ely
2024 Gianna Corbitt Gianna Corbitt 6'1" | SF Blanche Ely | 2024 State FL has a high basketball ceiling. The 6-foot-1 forward is a versatile player that can matchup from 2-4. Corbitt uses a combination of her size, athleticism, and footwork well on both sides of the floor. I saw her in a game against Dillard where she had nine points, five rebounds, three assists and one block. Corbitt’s shooting and post defense looked good. Given her multi-dimensional game, I think Corbitt has a bright future.
Maria Garcia Maria Garcia 6'0" | PF Schoolhouse Prep | 2023 State FL – Schoolhouse Prep
I’ll go a bit down in our rankings and highlight Maria Garcia Maria Garcia 6'0" | PF Schoolhouse Prep | 2023 State FL . The 6-foot prospect is a solid post player inside five feet. Given her frame, I think Maria Garcia Maria Garcia 6'0" | PF Schoolhouse Prep | 2023 State FL is reliable with her back to the basket. I also think she is mobile enough to get around her defender and finish layup attempts. Off rebounds, Maria Garcia Maria Garcia 6'0" | PF Schoolhouse Prep | 2023 State FL can power her way back up at the rim. She plays tough in this area and will create space. I also watched some video on her where she played well off the pick and roll. Maria Garcia Maria Garcia 6'0" | PF Schoolhouse Prep | 2023 State FL is already a double-double prospect and is only improving.
She holds a 3.84 GPA.
Jada Green Jada Green 6'0" | PF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State FL – St. Thomas Aquinas
2022 Jada Green Jada Green 6'0" | PF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State FL has the ability to score in transition or finish through contact. The 6-foot forward averaged 8.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the state champion Lady Raiders. Moreover, Green has shown ability to shoot the three ball. She hit two big 3-pointers against rival Blanche Ely in the regional semifinals. St. Thomas Aquinas might win another state title without her play that night. Therefore, I think her ability to affect the game inside or out will translate well in college. Green is going to Richmond, so it worked out pretty well!
