PGH Circuit Introduction: Bounce Nation FBC (Triumph Region)
In this article:
Now that we are moving into the 2022 grassroots season, I wanted to take the time and introduce several of the PGH Circuit programs over the next month. There will be four regions that comprise this year’s PGH Circuit – the Victory Region, the Legacy Region, the Dynasty Region, and the Triumph Region (the Region I’ll be covering). I’ll have articles specifically for those teams in the Triumph Region of the Circuit as we highlight and preview them. Below is a look at the Bounce Nation FBC Program out of Clayton County GA who is in their 6th year of existence, and it will be their 1st year on the PGH Circuit. They’ll be with us for the Music City Showdown (Nashville TN), Peach Games (Atlanta GA), and the 2023 team will be at the Triumph Region Finals (Spartanburg, SC).
The Bounce Nation FBC Program was founded in 2017 by Jay Moore after he began training his niece, Anaya Boyd, and the opportunity for girls to go to college no matter how good they played was limited on their side of town. “I had the resources to help, so I became proactive and began coaching her and a few other girls that I was training that were not being recruited”, he said. The four pillars that Bounce Nation is built on are “Hard Work, Competition, Defending, and Family.” His most memorable moments are those times when he gets to see his kids win their respective state championships. There are currently 7 teams under the Bounce Nation umbrella, 6 of which are in Clayton/Henry county with one being based out of Memphis TN.
The players for Bounce Nation FBC are in good hands with Coach Jay as he played at the next level at Savannah State & Jackson State. He started his journey into youth basketball directly after college by coaching/training some of the best boys in the country, and then gravitated towards the girls side later on. He’s seen numerous players make it to the next level such as: Genesis Bryant (NC State), Kionna Gaines (Clemson), Kaitlin Peterson (Indiana), Loyal McQueen (Alabama), KayKay Hayes (Jacksonville U), Anaya Boyd (Georgia Tech), Anisa Clark (Georgia Tech), Arielle-Vadrelle Belinga (Coastal Carolina), Sallie Schutz (Davidson), Imani McNeal (Detroit Mercy), and Ja’Niah Alexander (Alabama A&M). Coach Jay will have Meig Simmons, Greg Wilson, and Ronnie Enoch as a part of his coaching and operations staff for the summer. Here is a look at this summers rosters:

The goals that remain for Bounce Nation FBC are to continue to be one of the top programs to place girls into colleges that fit them while also creating more paths and resources for the women’s game. They are putting kids in schools at all levels with some of the top talent in the country as well as those underdogs that feel overlooked or don’t have the resources or opportunities to reach their full potential.
Coach Jay chose the PGH Circuit, because he loves helping people build. He said, “There was a time when people didn’t know me and my brand, but now look at me. Some people gave me a chance and I would like to do the same for you.”
Bounce Nation FBC is in for some elite competition, exposure, and coverage in the Triumph Region on America’s #1 Independent Grassroots Basketball Circuit.
