#7 [player_tooltip player_id="391801" first="Carli" last="Kuyper"] - 6’2 C 2024 - Lennox - Having full focus back in the Dakotas, I was finally able to catch Lennox play this season and came across a legitimate prospect. Carli is an exciting addition to the rankings, standing at 6’2. She’s athletic and runs very well. Puts a body on her opponent early down the court - and often. She will push out her opponent that tries to gain position. Good jumping ability for 6’2, to be able to get up for boards.
[player_tooltip player_id="377590" first="Jaylee" last="Hofer"] - 5’5 PG 2024 - Harrisburg - Jaylee needs to be mentioned as an addition, as she is the starting point guard for Harrisburg. A true distributor of the ball and operates within an offense. Handles the ball and passes the ball cleanly with both hands.
[player_tooltip player_id="405175" first="Mari" last="Richards"] - 6’1 F/C 2024 - Rapid City Central - Mari receives varsity playing time and is next in line as the interior player for Rapid City Central. She’s athletic and moves well at 6’1. looks to have some solid upside with her movement, length, and athleticism.
[player_tooltip player_id="391823" first="Dani" last="Highum"] - 5’10 G/F 2024 - Lennox - Dani is a wing with good size and athleticism. She’s a slasher that doesn’t play flashy. Can score inside with no wasted movement. Runs the court hard, will fly around, and defend on a wing with pressure and length.
[player_tooltip player_id="405779" first="Elizabeth" last="Heinen"] - 6’1 C 2024 - Huron - As I’m diving deeper into watching some Junior Varsity ball to uncover some up-and-coming talent, I came across Heinen. She’s every bit of 6’1 and immediately stands out on the court - especially at the JV level. A post prospect to watch for next season in AA.
[player_tooltip player_id="375354" first="Allie" last="Kohn"] - 5’7 G 2024 Lemmon - Allie is a left-handed scoring guard that possesses the ball often and dictates the Lemmon offense. The Sophomore averaged 16.5 ppg. and 3.4 apg. She hit an impressive 61 threes on the season. She’ll be with ND Attack in the offseason and is a college level guard.
[player_tooltip player_id="391700" first="Karly" last="VanDerWerff"] - 5’11 F 2024 - Platte-Geddes - Karly is a nice addition to the rankings as a versatile, position-less forward type of prospect. She can get dirty and mean on the inside and step out on the perimeter and shoot the ball as well.
[player_tooltip player_id="342168" first="Lauren" last="Grinde"] - 5’6 G 2024 - Tri-Valley - Lauren is a Sophomore starting guard for Tri-Valley, and she was a PGH Dakotas Top 250 EXPO participant. She’s a lefty guard that can attack off the dribble and has an accurate and smooth release, shooting the ball. When she gets in the lane and near-hoop, she becomes very confident as a finisher.
[player_tooltip player_id="375561" first="Abby" last="Aslesen"] - 5’11 G/F 2024 - Howard - Abby is a long wing/forward that has some skills. Glides on the court with constant movement and energy. A strong rebounder that goes up and attacks and will fight for the ball. Not a quick-twitch athlete but has good jumping ability to score over the defense.
[player_tooltip player_id="362676" first="Kinsey" last="Evans"] - 5’5 G 2024 - Chamberlain - Kinsey is an electric and super-quick guard. She plays with great speed with the ball and can apply heavy defensive pressure with her quickness. A combination of a good handle on the ball and superb quickness, allows her to get to the rack easily and become a passer and scorer. Moves the ball very quickly around the perimeter, keeping the offense moving. Kinsey can play at the NAIA level.
[player_tooltip player_id="404612" first="Claire" last="Wynja"] - 5’6 G 2024 - Dell Rapids - Claire is a starting guard for Dell Rapids. She is an excellent athlete with great overall speed and movement. She has solid enough handles to get up to high-level speeds with the ball in her hands.
[player_tooltip player_id="391639" first="Musonda" last="Kabwe"] - 5’9 G 2024 - Clark/Willow Lake - Musonda is a good-sized guard at 5’9 and plays point for the Cyclones. At this point, she translates to an athletic off-guard. She can take the ball quick off the dribble to get to the rim.
[player_tooltip player_id="404946" first="Camryn" last="Wilkinson"] - 5’7 SG 2024 - Sioux Falls Roosevelt - Camryn is a solid and sound guard with the ball. Has decent size and good movement/fluidity to her. Does a good job on-ball and off-ball defensively - remaining in good position.
