Mya Babbitt Mya Babbitt 5'8" | SG Millard South | 2023 State NE | Millard South | Jr | Guard
Babbitt is a well known prospect, against Bellevue West she tied a state record hitting seven 3-pointers and really put the Thunderbirds on skates for the game. Babbitt’s range and quick release make her dangerous everytime she touches the ball. She does a great job will ball pressure and creating turnovers as well. She applies constant pressure on defenses and will leave them scrambling to close when she is left open. Babbitt should have a big senior year.

Taylor McCabe Taylor McCabe 5'9" | CG Fremont | 2022 State NE | Fremont | Sr | Guard
The Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year and Iowa commit, scored 22 points against Lincoln Pius X, adding 4 steals defensively. McCabe has a motor not alot of players have. She is relentless on both sides of the ball and is one of the greatest scorers the state has seen. She has remarkable range but can also get to the bucket and draw contact. In the game against the Thunderbolts, she went 6 for 7 from the free throw line. Player of the year was well deserved.
Makenna Lesiak Makenna Lesiak 5'9" | SF Pius X | 2023 State NE | Lincoln Pius X | Jr | Forward
The Thunderbolts were overmatched against Taylor McCabe Taylor McCabe 5'9" | CG Fremont | 2022 State NE and Fremont but Lesiak kept Pius in the game in the second half, scoring 13 of her team high 21 points. She showed range knocking down two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and was the went on a scoring run by herself for Pius. Lesiak has good size and can play on the inside but showed how she can expand her game on the outside, which should make her dangerous heading into her senior year.
