My focus in this article are those prospects that we have remained unsigned. It also pertains to players across South Florida.

[player_tooltip player_id="91561" first="Michiyah" last="Simmons"] was one of the best ball handlers I saw this past season. The 5-foot-8 point guard had an exceptional burst and forward motion as she drove to the basket. You could tell her skill instantly on the court. Simmons averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals per game. She was named 1st Team All-County by the Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel. In addition, Simmons was selected as the Broward County Athletic Association's Athlete and Scholar Athlete of the Year. She won three state titles in five varsity seasons. FIU has offered.
[player_tooltip player_id="91566" first="Joey" last="Delancy"] - Plantation American Heritage/Miami Suns (PH. 34)
Delancy has the size and skill to play multiple positions. The 5-foot-10 prospect averaged 16.1 points, seven rebounds and 5.9 assists per game for the Class 5A state champions. Moreover, Delancy went 38-of-93 (41 percent) from deep. She can confidently play the 2-4. Delancy plays tough and would be an excellent addition to a college program.

Stephens will go down as one of the best athletes in Western's history. The 5-foot-8 guard averaged 17.5 points per game while scoring 1000 career points in three seasons. Stephens shot 44 percent overall and 36 percent from deep. She scored a season-high 42 points while shooting 59 percent from the field against Taravella. Overall, Stephens finished in double-figures in 23 of 26 games. She holds a 4.3 GPA.

[player_tooltip player_id="244003" first="Monique" last="Joseph"] was a solid frontcourt prospect for a King's Academy team that won 24 games and reached the Class 3A state final four. The 6-foot center/forward averaged 8.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Overall, Joseph recorded four double-doubles. As a junior, she averaged 10.5 points and 10.2 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor. Joseph played in 77 listed games.

[player_tooltip player_id="243967" first="Casey" last="Jo Lewis"] was a great player in Palm Beach County. The 5-foot-9 forward averaged 11.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game. She scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds against 18-10 Santaluces.

[player_tooltip player_id="154898" first="Ashley" last="Thornton"] put up strong numbers for Seminole Ridge. The 5-foot-5 guard averaged 17.5 points, 4.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and three steals per game. Overall, Thornton scored in double-figures in 16 of 17 games. She helped the Hawks to a 16-2 record.
