CIF Southern Section Championships - Final Four Matchups are going to be discussed in this article, we were not able to watch all of the games in the finals this year. The main reason for this new type of format was the COVID19 rules implemented by each institution to keep athletes and their families safe from being infected by the virus. We were able to watch games that fell on opposite days and here is what we took from these games during that whole time.

Young post player that can run the floor, finish at the rim with either hand, blocks shots on a regular for her team. She is still developing on the offensive end of the floor, but her abilities are apparent, she can score it in bunches and is one the better rebounders in the area. She has major upside, but will have to develop that over the shoulder left or right post game. She is young and will improve with leaps and bounds.

Shamblin still has another year until she hits high school, but she’s done well playing against older competition. She’s a natural floor leader with great instincts and court awareness. Advanced in her ability to run an offense as a lead guard. She’s comfortable getting her own shot against older players and she’s a knockdown shooter from midrange and from three. She can see the floor, composed under defensive pressure, and can find open teammates. High upside.
