The Boo Williams program has always been a top producer of division one talent in the state of Virginia for years. This year the program had to reload on some really good young prospects that had been coming up the pipeline. With this 2023 class heading into this last year of AAU, it's a fresh start of new player leadership on all levels of the programs and as the girls gain more experience they will no doubt fall into their defined roles!
<strong><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Impact Players</span></strong>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="254955" first="Amari" last="Smith"] 5’11 SF 2023</strong>
I mean what a way to roll into your last year of AAU! One of the top players in the 757 VHSL first-team all-state and player of the year. Was also capped with a domination win in the state championship game! With great physical size and also can play the point forward it is probably going to be a big summer for Amari!
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="254975" first="Mia" last="Woolfolk"] 6’2 C/PF 2024</strong>
One of the most physical post/players in the state regardless of class! Very tenacious on the offensive and defensive glass. A back to the basket player that can score over either shoulder. Looks like Mia will be anchoring the middle on the 17U EYBL this season and she will have no problem this season.

Started at New Hope High school, landed back at Princess Anne High and still made the all-state team! High-level scorer from the point guard position that is very athletic and a high IQ player with multiple offers!
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="254952" first="Cate" last="Carlson"] 5’11 SF 2023</strong>
Cate has proven she can be the main focus of a team with a great high school season last year. Good size with a college-ready frame and is a good spot up and off the dribble 3-point shooter.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Intriguing Players</strong></span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="302530" first="Nyla" last="Brooks"] 6’1 Wing 2025</strong>
<img class="size-medium wp-image-316578 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/08/Nyla-Brooks-crop-1025x673-1628949537-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />
Starting to look totally locked in at the wing position! When you see Nyla's physical frame it is hard to believe she only just coming out of her freshman campaign. The only thing she will need is time to grow and get better, maybe her name can ring loud on a national level as well!
<strong>Madeline Leach 5’8 CG 2026</strong>
I first saw her last march at an event where she won MVP and Maddie has had a good steady climb! Only in the 8th playing on the 15U Nike team, she can shoot it from three and the pull-up jumper. She is still growing into her body I’m looking forward to her development this AAU season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="326208" first="Gracynn" last="Gough"] 6’0 PF 2024</strong>

From North Carolina a good stretch 4 that's very physical at 6 foot. She can face up for a shot or just power to the rack off the dribble. With her size and frame, she identifies mismatches to her advantage on the floor!
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Newcomers</strong></span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="387856" first="Ava" last="Sawi"] 5’8 CG 2024</strong>
Quick and fast with some burst off the dribble and can get to top speed in a hurry. An elite athlete that has good three point range off the dribble, her high school played the number one team in the country and she looked at times unguardable!
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="390331" first="Chazlyn" last="Dettor"] 6’0 PF 2025</strong>
A transfer from the state of Colorado definitely brings a physical presence around the basket. Had a very productive year at Woodside High school, and may have to develop into an little bit more of a scorer this spring and summer.
