Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Class of 2024 guards and wings from last weekend’s Coach T Classic at Pattonville High

Monet Witherspoon (Midwest United 16U): The 5’7" guard from John Burroughs has a smooth offensive game as a playmaker and scorer. She can create a shot off the dribble and knock down the 3-pointer. She can also play fast or excel in a half-court offense.

[player_tooltip player_id="202412" first="Allie" last="Turner"] (Napheesa Collier Elite 17U): A 5’9" 2024 point guard from John Burroughs who helped lead her team to the 17U championship game. She’s a smooth ball handler with three-level scoring ability. She maintains an even keel throughout the game, regardless of the circumstances.

Jadyn Wooten (MO Phenom-EYBL): A 5’6" point guard from the Kansas side, who is one of the top floor leaders in the region in her class. She is a creative playmaker who can get a bucket from just about anywhere on the court. Her passing skills are also impeccable.

Chase Giddings (Midwest United): A 5’8" guard from Lift for Life who was impressive at both ends of the court. She can push the pace and can penetrate in the lane to get a bucket or to drop a nice dime to an open teammate. She also excels defensively in the full court press.

Claire Manns (MO Phenom): A 5’9" guard from Helias who was always looking to push the tempo. Keeps constant pressure on the defense. She delivered some nice passes while also hitting the 3-pointer.

[player_tooltip player_id="199287" first="Nautica" last="Washington"] (MO Phenom): A pint guard from Battle who plays an excellent all-around floor game. She can move at a fast tempo while always playing under control.
Jordyn Rowland (I Quest): A 5’9" shooting guard from Kirkwood who displayed a nice offensive package in the game I watched her. She came off screens to hit the 3-pointer and she also had some nice moves in the lane to score on short jumpers and runners.

Genesis Starks (STL Phenom): A 5’9 shooting guard from MICDS with good fundamentals and a nice shot from 3-point range. She is consistently in the right position.
Sydney Bradley (Midwest United 17U): A 5’10" wing from Westminster Christian who plays with a ton of energy and activity. She was constantly getting out and running in transition and playing with a high motor on the defensive end.
