With as many talented teams and players that there are throughout the Palmetto State, one would certainly expect that it would translate over to the grassroots realm. For one of our latest grassroots previews, we head to the South Carolina upstate to take a look at one of its travel teams.
The FBC Carolina Hawks Elite organization will field a number of six teams this AAU season. One of those teams whose sneakers will touch many a basketball court over the next few months is that of FBC Carolina Hawks Elite 14U Hatten. The Hatten mentioned in the team’s name is Neal Hatten – one of the directors of the program.
Hatten’s team is coming off an impressive showing at the recently completed Phenom Lady Rumble event at Carolina Courts in Concord. FBC Carolina Hawks Elite 14U-Hatten went 3-0, picking up victories over Strong Center 2026 Women Wooden, Lady Attack Elite 14U National and Thunder 2026G. All six were present at Carolina Courts.
Nine players will make up the roster for FBC Carolina Hawks Elite 14U Hatten. Without further adieu, here is a look at how said roster will look as the travel season remains, for now, in its early days.

[player_tooltip player_id="195514" first="Monasia" last="Clinkscales"] – 2026 – Glenview MS/T.L. Hanna HS – Clinkscales is one of two representatives from Glenview on this year’s FBC Carolina Hawks Elite 14U Hatten team – and its pipeline to T.L. Hanna. She is a rising young talent with the skillset of a seasoned vet.
Alaila Flack – 2026 – Rutherton-Spindale Middle School – Flack is the lone North Carolina representative on the team. One of the Hoop State’s rising stars, she presents a skillset that includes an ability to sink 3-point shots.
[player_tooltip player_id="258130" first="Ava" last="Harrington"] – 2026 – Pickens HS – Along with what she accomplishes on the basketball court, Harrington has become very used to the indoor sporting venue the Sparks have as she also has played volleyball throughout her time at Pickens.
[player_tooltip player_id="324541" first="Khalia" last="Hartwell"] – 2027 – Glenview MS/T.L. Hanna HS – There are many things a coach can coach, but height is not one of them. At a towering 6-foot-4, Hartwell is setting herself up to become a household name in Palmetto State basketball circles throughout the coming seasons.
[player_tooltip player_id="324559" first="Jazzlyn" last="McMillan"] – 2027 – Fairfield Central MS/Fairfield Central HS – Her grassroots career has seen her wear the Palmetto Pressure and SC Future uniforms as well as that of FBC Carolina Elite 14U Hatten. McMillan is another with the high basketball IQ of an upperclassman despite being a young up-and-comer.
[player_tooltip player_id="398712" first="Khia" last="Paul"] – 2026 – Robert Anderson MS – Four from Robert Anderson are included in the FBC Carolina Hawks Elite 14U Hatten roster. Paul is one of those four and is certain to begin to garner an increased profile as her career starts a transition to that next stage.
[player_tooltip player_id="398713" first="Janaila" last="Rhodes"] – 2026 – Robert Anderson MS – Rhodes is another 2026 who will be representing Robert Anderson. She is listed at 5-foot-7, won a team award for Most Improved Player and is the tallest of anyone on the team outside of the pair of six-footers.
[player_tooltip player_id="398715" first="Gervonna" last="Williams"] – 2026 – Robert Anderson MS – Williams proved to be a primary catalyst for what was a stellar season for the Rams. She won a team MVP award for a Robert Anderson bunch that completed an undefeated season.
[player_tooltip player_id="264982" first="Jamiah" last="Williams"] – 2026 – Robert Anderson MS – Williams is one of the two six-footers on the team with the other being the 6-foot-4 Hartwell. If the pipeline holds up, it may not be long before we see Williams sport Westside Rams colors once she enters the high school realm.
