Cherish Jefferson (PG, Detroit Mumford, UTS Lady Elite 2025)
Jefferson is a bona fide playmaker. She uses a nice first step and extreme strength for a guard to put her opponents on her hip and attack the defense. Jefferson will break down a lot of grassroots defenses this spring and summer. UTS has developed a reputation for developing talented guards and the coaches there have a lot of skill to work with in Cherish Jefferson.
Kadyn Maida (SG, Saline, Michigan Premier 2025 – Saldana)
Saline has developed some really nice talent over the last few years and Kadyn Maida might be next up. She has an impressive scoring acumen and has a high IQ for the game. Maida has a really nice looking jumper and can hit the bottom of the net from deep. It’ll be very interesting to watch her game develop this grassroots season.
DaNia McClain (PF, South Lake, Michigan Storm 2025 UAA)
McClain is going to dominate the paint over the next few years in the state of Michigan. She’s aggressive on both ends of the floor, helping her to be the type of player that makes things happen. McClain’s combination of strength and post skills are tough for any opponent to contain. She’s going to turn heads nationally this season.
Payton Palmer (PG, Midland, Michigan Mystics 2025)
I really like Palmer’s upside as a player and prospect. She has a really nice feel for the game on both ends of the floor. Palmer is an ever improving passer that seems to be learning how to run an offense quickly. She’s a solid on ball defender that can take the ball away from an unsuspecting opponent. Palmer is the type of player that could have a breakout season.
Jaslynn Ward Jaslynn Ward 5'8" | PG East Kentwood | 2025 State MI (PG, St. Joseph, MBA UAA 2025)
I first saw Ward at a Flight Hankamp Open Run at Lake Michigan College. She showed the ability to attack off the bounce and go both directions with the ball. Ward has a tremendous upside and her mentality is a plus. She never gets flustered and seems to always be prepared. We can expect Ward to play big in big moments this spring and summer.
